In terms of the story this is the order: Reach Halo Combat Evolved Halo 2 Halo 3 ODST Halo 3 Halo 4 So start with Reach. Reach is also one of the best games in the franchise. So it's a good way to gauge whether you'll like Halo. Combat Evolved is still my favorite Halo game. But a lot of that may be nostalgia and how good it was for its time. You may not think much of it playing it 20+ years after it originally came out. It would be like going back and trying to play Half-Life for the first time today. So much of what Halo did is now standard that it won't have the same impact that playing it back in 2001 or 2002 would have had.
halo infinite coop mode has a dumb glitch where you just magically lose the ability to switch equipment..... one year in the making folks.
Just finished Infinite last night and it was a pretty fun game with nice changes. I liked the "open world" roaming of the main map. Mentioning all of that, there's some ridiculous possible game breakers for some people out there. Connections to servers still problems to this day. Constant rubberbanding. You can't use the Geforce Experience overlay in this game. You can go into it, but you can't interact with any selections because it thinks you're still in the game. And of course what I mentioned in my last post.
