HQV Benchmark PS3 VS PC

    As the title says, im wondering what would be better and faster.
    A high-end HTPC or a PS3, for Blu Ray playback (in all formats, 3D, etc).

    I'm certain a high-end PC with a Sandy Bridge i7 and a GTX 5xx series card would mop the floor with the PS3. But the PS3 is a better value at just $300.

    Agreed. I haven't used the ps3 bluray featrure yet but I'm sure it wouldn't perform as well as a high end pc.

    WUT? Better and faster for bluray playback? What madness is this? Maybe you should compare an overclocked i7 HTPC with a budget DVD player next - just which is quicker at playing DVDs?
