Uhh if your serious let me know. I'd have to get them out of the garbage bin. This one was the last and oldest of 3 large bins. The other two went out a few weeks ago. These are all floppy disk so kind of worthless for actual use. In fact most were set to run at the CPU speed of 20 - 33 Mhz so they won't work on modern processors. One of them even says made for Tandy but PC compatible.
I was kind of serious - always liked the old dungeons and dragons stuff, mainly for nostalgia. I've not got much early PC stuff in my collection, as we never had a PC growing up. I wonder how much of a pain it is for you to send and the cost though. What do you think?
Should've listed them on eBay just to check. I've seen classic games go for ridiculous prices... Or become an enabler and ship it to the hoarder ^
What you probably want is Gamefest: Forgotten Realms Classics. It has all the old Gold Box games. I see it on ebay for as low as $15. Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection One Eye of the Beholder I Eye of the Beholder II Eye of the Beholder III Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Two Curse of the Azure Bonds Gateway to the Savage Frontier Hillsfar Pools of Darkness Pool of Radiance Secret of the Silver Blades Treasures of the Savage Frontier Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Three Dungeon Hack Menzoberranzan Blood & Magic A 2 Chapter Baldur's Gate Demo The boxes are in bad shape and the package mentioned above pops up for sale about once a year for about $10. Also half these games are listed in abandonware sites so they're free if you feel lucky. I'll put the games back in a bin for now. I'm leaving town for a few days so I'll figure out what to do with them next week.
That Gamefest does look good- costs about 50-60 dollars though, as not many ship over here. Think I'll probably get that BUT that doesn't mean I don't want your stuff. Quite the contrary, bfun. My collection needs more and more stuff everyday, especially stuff I'll never play but can look at. Its all quite healthy. Think about what suits you and let me know. Maybe you could deliver them in person or something? I'll buy you some fish and chips to sweeten the transatlantic costs.
Prodigy...my god, haven't thought about that in a while. That was first internet-ish service that I ever used.
Surprisingly, shipping a large box to the UK containing goods valued at $0, only costs ~$25. That is about 16 lbs of fish and chips. It's debatable if that is enough for the typical American diet, might have to add a multiplier.
Can barely read that but cat is probably right for valve. Actively scorns you and everything you stand for but will come to you when it wants feeding and may allow you to pet it but when you want something from it, it will piss off and shit in your bed.
Damn cat does shit you don't want him to and never does what you what you want him to. DEVELOP SOME GAMES VALVE.
Does anyone know any sites that host royalty free images that are themselves free? Places like Shutterstock and the like all charge through the nose for royalty free images, I'm hoping one of you chaps knows of a place. Disregard. I found a couple of sites.
Priceless. KLM executives have their clothes ripped off by employees upset with announced layoff plans...
