Killzone 3

  1. They hyped up the game to much, people were expecting more.

  2. I don't agree at all. Seems to me it's the game most people were expecting. Nits been getting good and very good scores. I have no idea why it bothers you either. Bit weird.

  3. Bit weird that it bothers you that I and my clan expected more from KZ3.

  4. You just seem to be borderline trollish regarding certain things. You're a bit of a broken record. Plenty of stuff disappoints me but I don't feel the need to go on and on.

  5. Do you and your clan play on Killzone 2 then? If not then I don't see how you could expect anything.

  6. We dont play it on multiplayer, but most of us own a PS3 (only for singleplayer though)
    Have played KZ1 and 2, not much, but have played it. Havent got any glance of KZ3 myself, but i DO believe my friends though.

    Also see that im 100% PC gamer, then going from PC FPS to console FPS is never a good thing.
    Have also played UT on PS3 with a KB/mouse, for me, it still didnt come anywhere near the PC experience ive got with the same game (resolution, framerate, etc).

    What i mean with this is that KZ3 got really hyped alot, and that people expect too much thanks to all the hype. Same could happen to DNF, 12 years of hype, it can only dissapoint.

  7. Well, as a PC gamer, you should know not to compare consoles to PCs. Comparing FPS on PC to FPS on console is pointless. This is not a new discovery, you are at least 10 years out of date with your complaints.

    I didn't think Killzone 3 was overhyped at all.

  8. What is this site's name again?

  9. Oh alright then, controls are an area where pcs have the overwhelming victory for FPSs.

    Consoles do have a nice touch with analogue movement however, holding down a button to walk is soo last century, the implementation of Move controls might sway it though. Although more natural aiming ability is required, you can pretty much customise it so it's as responsive as a mouse.

    So, mouse or Move? I shall have a tinker and see how it stacks up.

    The PC also wins in the overhyped category, with Duke nukem Forever living up to its name.

  10. Gamespot isn't a good source for reviews. They've been caught red handed taking bribe money from game publishers for better reviews, and fired their best writer when he refused to play ball.

  11. You can't possibly be speaking the truth. Kane and lynch must have been amazing, what with all the advertising on gamespot.

  12. If you log into Home this week, there's a Killzone themed area in the Home Square. Completing some challenges in here gets you some ISA costume bits in Home.

    Completing all the challenges (There are 9, the first 6 are easy) gets you some bonus unlock points in Killzone 3.

  13. For anyone who is interested, here is a review for KZ3.

    Sounds like this is going to be a beast of a game. I really need to get KZ2 finished before this is out..

  14. In numeric, what is a B+ exactly?

  15. 25 out of 26.

  16. @Phisix, it's a shame they brushed off the Move implementation so quickly. They treated it like a gimmick. I've had a quick go, and whilst I'm not completely used to it, the aiming ability is brilliant, it almost feels like cheating.

    A B+ is equivalent to 110 points. An A is 120 points. Although technically, there isn't such thing as a B+ and a B is 100 points.

  17. Ah okej, never knew that:p Just allways assumed if a game got a B or anything like that its a good game.

  18. Anything C and up is acceptable, a C is 80 points. D and below is generally subpar.

  19. I see it like this:

    C = A good game
    B = A great game
    A = An amazing game

  20. Its appearing on the consoles aswel.
