I've enjoyed this game but the lack of refinement in some areas is shocking. For instance, you can't choose which game you want to join - there's no list of the games running. So, if you want a quick game you'll have to take your chances. There's an option where you can select your map preferences but everytime I've used it I've never got a game, just a waiting screen. Another issue is there's no playlist that filters out clans. MW2 and a few others had that option and it was useful at times. This game doesn't and it makes it so unbalanced to an almost unplayable extent. For a game that relies on teamwork even 2 or 3 co-ordinated people against a group of randoms will make a massive difference. It's hella annoying to try and turn things around by yourself. Finally, the most unforgivably fuckwitted thing of all. There's 5 classes in this game so you have 5 character slots, each upgradable with weapons and abilities. The final weapon unlocks tend to be the best. Does this game remember how you want your classes set up? Of course not. So, in a game about dynamic switching then you'd best remember to select that top level gun or you're screwed until you die. Case in point, I'm on an assassination mission - playing with randoms against another group with a clan. No fucker is going for the target; they're resigned to losing and are trying to get some kills. I think, fuck it. I go for the infiltrator class so I disguise myself as the other team and sneak across the map to the target. I'm clever at this and manage to get to their side of the map. I walk into the building the target is in, go up the stairs. He's alone. Time to die motherfucker! I switch to my secondary weapon - the final level rocket launcher. He's not going to get up from that. Oh wait whut? A handgun? A weak weak handgun? The fucking game has defaulted to the weak handgun. Shit shit shit. I stumble to switch back to my machine gun. However, the assasination target has grown a bit suspicious of his team mate juggling weapons in front of him and shoots me dead. FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU... The game was shortly turned off.
Lol, poor monsly. Perhaps you should simply find some people who play regularly on that game and play with them?
I've played with a few people online but I'm hardly inclined to organise a frickin' clan every time I fancy a game.
Well I did suggest people who play regularly, so that when you pop on they are already playing and you can just join in.
Not really much of an answer though, really. I'd suggest GG might be better off implementing some of the design elements others have done. Seeing as they're on version 1.09 or 1.10 then I'm some what doubtful they'll ever fix the issues that bug me.
