Last Game You Completed?

  1. The gsme's plot was pretty insane really. I just remember it being very over the top rather than any real detail. Did it end on a plane?

  2. I thought you were given two choices and then you had to make a film

  3. Yeah the film part was weird.

  4. Spoilers! I have yet to play the third one!!

The prison escape at the start of Saints Row 2. 8)

  5. Red Faction: Armageddon

    7/10

  6. Hang on, were you playing RF Armageddon and not the original in the end?

  7. What the eff? Armageddon isn't the first Red Faction.

    Did it look like this?

  8. Armageddon is the third in the series is it not?

  9. It's the fourth and came out in 2011, bfun must be smoking some serious drugs if he thought it came out in 2001

    2001

  10. My mistake then. From those two screenshots it just shows you how far gaming has come since 2001.

  11. Well sue me then. I thought I was playing the first one. I didn't exactly do much research on the game and I though khaid was exaggerating about it's age.

I can pick up Red Faction Guerrilla for like $6.50. Contemplating doing so.

  12. What's up with the dog collar in the second screenshot?

  13. The one I played didn't have a dog collar so that must be the 7th one.

  14. Guerilla is considered the best one from what I've heard. I really liked it, the destruction engine made for some very fun missions.

  15. The man doesn't even know what game he played. I was going to say, I seriously doubt you played the original Red Faction. I remember playing a demo of Red Faction when I was in high school on my Athlon 800mhz. That's how old it is.

  16. Bioshock Infinite

I'm not going to say much about this until more have a chance to play through it. I'd recommend avoiding spoilers. I will say that I enjoyed this game all the way through.

Also, I managed to find every single Voxophone in the game the first time through, which according to Steam stats is the rarest global Achievement, just 0.1% currently. I'm not sure how I managed to do that.

I started a game in 1999 Mode but haven't made it to a combat segment yet to test how tough it is. I've noticed that very few items appear when scavenging, however.

  17. Did you play on hard to begin with? I'm wishing I did. I haven't died once yet and there is always excessive health, ammo and salts around. I hate difficulties that just make the enemies HP tanks, which is what I've heard this game does, but it really is just too easy on medium.

  18. I played on Medium, which I also regretted. I kept thinking that eventually it would get harder. There's a lengthy introduction period in which you hardly fight anything and thus aren't aware that it's going to be too easy, and when I realized it wasn't getting much tougher over time, I didn't want to start all the way at the beginning again because I was into the story. Also, I was worried if I restarted and took longer to finish the story I would increase my chances of have something spoiled. I had already seen some minor things spoiled from researching previews of the game. Some jackasses will spoil major surprises within the title, making it very difficult to avoid. I could have just switched the difficulty midway through (you can't in 1999 Mode, BTW), but I typically like to play all the way through a game on the same difficulty.

I'm hoping 1999 Mode is more to my liking. It seems to have limit your resources and takes away navigation assistance.

  19. I finished dishonored yesterday. It a good game and I enjoyed it. The ending was really anticlimactic though.

  20. I was kind of 50/50 on the ending. The choices you make throughout the game only seem to affect the story and not really the game play. But I did enjoy the story ending.
