Last Game You Completed?

  1. Modern Warfare 3

Pretty much like the others. Run and shoot until you just miss your objective. Repeat. Then after 7 hours finish final objective and win.

Fun but with no originality. 6/10

  2. Finished Abzu on ps4, designed by the chief designer of Journey who left ThatGameCompany to start his own Giant Squid studio and Austin Wintory who composed the music.

It's basically Journey 2 but under water. 3 hours of slow contemplation.

    8/10 from me

  3. He was the art director back in thatgamecompany.

Abzu had its moments but obviously struggled in comparison to Journey.

    6.5/10

  4. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

In short I thought the game was boring at times. The maps were small and areas didn't feel very unique. Unlocking augments wasn't that important and I think I had about 8 praxis at the end of the game that I never used. Ammo was scarce so stealth was usually the best option. The end of the game got pretty good but everything before that was meh. 6/10

  5. I was kind of bored with the little bit that I played. It doesn't seem as good as the previous game.

  6. I played the normal difficulty and here is what I thought. Most of the weapons are pretty useless. They can't be silenced or there is a shortage of ammo. The tranquilizer riffle and stun gun are all you need and they are both 1 shot take downs. All that hacking software is pretty useless. I had tons of it and never used any of it. Money is pretty useless. There isn't much of anything to buy. Most augments are kind of useless too. Lift heavy objects, breath gas, jump higher, power punch, make getting around easier and let you get you more crap you don't need but they aren't really necessary. Weapon augments are also pretty useless. You'll never have enough ammo to use them and if you did you wouldn't need them anyway. I didn't even need health augments. Enemies were lethal but with stealth you rarely get hit. Hacking augments are the ones you need most because there are way too many things to hack. After I realized I didn't need any more junk or money I stopped exploring. The RPG element was weak and side quest where short and lame. The main story is the saving grace but with nothing else going for it I began to rush to the end.

  7. Deus Ex seems to have a Star Trek thing going on where it goes back and forth between good and meh

    Deus Ex 1 = awesome
Deus Ex 2 Invisible War = meh
Deus Ex 3 Human Revolution = awesome
Deus Ex 4 Mankind Divided = meh

  8. That's too bad. The previous Deus Ex was very good. I was hoping this one would be of similar quality.

  9. Zelda; Link Between Worlds and Resident Evil remaster.

  10. Watchdogs:

Had it for a while now and played it now and then again. One of the few games such as Fallout 4 I am trying to finish on my backlog of PS4 games.

  11. Fallout 4:

Another game I needed to finish as I was near the end of the story. I finished the story with the Institute but the ending was short and shit. Enjoyable game but I wont be playing any of the DLC.

    Titanfall 2

This had one of the best single player campaigns of any FPS I've played in recent years. It was on the short side at maybe 8-10 hours, but had lots of memorable moments. Loved the time shift ability and the huge air battle at the end of the game, jet pack jumping from ship to ship. BT the Titan was a cool character. He had some funny lines. Even if the multiplayer dies a quick death, this game will be worth picking up for the campaign if you can get it cheap.

    9/10

    MGSV Ground Zeroes

Got this as part of the definitive edition of MGSV that's on sale during the Steam Sale. How was this ever sold as a standalone game? It's like 15 minutes of gameplay and 30 minutes of cutscenes. People actually paid money for this? I've played longer demos.

  14. Yeah people did. It was basically a set up for MGSV. I waited until I was £5 though and then got it again free on PSN with the PS4.

Finished Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS.

  15. Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Brilliant sequel to the reboot which was also brilliant. A end ending sets up a third game.

  16. God of War 3: Remastered -

Finally finished this brilliant and fun game to finish off the trilogy which I was very late too. Great series and just in time for the brand new God of War series coming out eventually.

  17. The game had great graphics and a great story but the game mechanics were weak. Resource gathering for weapon upgrades was mostly pointless as was collecting gold to spend at that little store. You can't use certain weapons until you find all the pieces and assemble them. Meanwhile, the enemy has no shortage of weapons but you can't use them. Much of the game is on rails so there isn't much in the way of tactics. The skill tree was also kind of sad.

    7/10

  18. Finished the main the game last night and done with Baba Yaga some time ago, just have the other DLC bits to do now.

It was a good game, the action felt decent and the combat was good enough. Some of the challenges can be really hard to complete as finding some of the things is really hard, still haven't finished the one where you have to burn the banners in the old copper mill and I am still in-fact missing 3 despite running through the place twice.

The ending meant that we probably already know where Rhianna is going with the next one and the story will likely continue, just hope it is somewhere less snowy.

  19. The flag missions are one of the logical fallacies that drive me nuts. A knife is needed to complete the missions and the knife isn't available until late into the game. I mean Croft has a bag of super survival tech with 4 different types of arrowheads, explosives, endless spools of rope, a super sharp ice axe, and firearms. She can literally butcher a whole deer and turn it's skin into weapon parts but when she tries to cut a piece of rope to remove a flag she can't because she doesn't have the most basic piece of survival gear. A knife.

But the Baba Yaga stuff was really good.

  20. Dishonored 2

For as much discussion as there was about the technical shortcomings, I wasn't really distracted by it at all. The game is really just more of the same and not much else. Playing was fun but the story was weak, leveling most unnecessary, and upgrades kind of pointless. Sometimes I looked forward to playing and other times I just wanted it to be over.
