Watched a Korean movie, The good the bad the weird. I just realized... the name of one of the main characters was Don Gook :x Awesome name for a Korean lol. It was a very entertaining movie, very western shooter like, but in the east ofc. Pretty nonsensical... but very entertaining
Limitless It was much better than I expected. It had a unique premise that was well executed. Drive Angry It was a delightful piece of grindhouse trash. There's a part where Cage fucks a chick, drinks whiskey and kills ten dudes in a gun fight all at the same time. Also, how did I not know about Amber Heard? She's one of the hottest chicks I've ever seen. Like Scar Jo hot, except she's a lesbian, which automatically makes her hotter. The Adjustment Bureau It was a chick flick disguised as sci-fi. Hall Pass Flat out sucked. I didn't laugh once. Jumper Not as bad as the reviews would indicate, but not particularly good either. Just Go With It Adam Sandler should just stop making movies. And Jennifer Aniston is the worst actress ever.
Just finished watching "9". Yeah I am a few years late watching it but whatever. Enjoyed it although it was quite short.
I am Number Four Should have been called I am Number Two. Save for one action scene near the end, there was nothing good about it. I can see why it was almost straight to video. The worst part is that you can tell they were trying to set it up for a series, but it wasn't good enough to warrant a sequel. Unknown It was a decent thriller, but not great or particularly memorable.
Letters from Iwo Jima sort of the Japo version of Diary of Anne Frank, it really touches my Japo appologist bleedin heart.... NOT. Actually the movie wasn't all half bad, it wasn't about the Japanese, it was about how the Japanese royally FUCKED UP. Made my heart proud Produced and Directed by Clint Eastwood. Also funded (produced) by Speilberg, the half Kraut/ half Jew.
It's a profile, that post laid it on a bit hard, sort of like sarcasm. But I am a little asshat though :lol: Never noticed that Speilberg sounds like it's half German half Jew though lol...
Did you watch fags of our fathers? It gives a little of insight to some of the events in letters from iwo jima. Not really required to watch but makes it a little more interesting.
Basically same battle, American point of view. Side story was about the marines that set up the flag on the mountain top. Some parts were cool.. remember that american soldier that the japanese soldiers pulled into the tunnel and stabbed to death? You get to see what he doing at the time he got caught in fags of our fathers.
but still... ok you rooster, I searched for of our fathers and found it. have to get it in the mail... will probably be my last movie from netflix :/
watching the bonus features of 9 as I surf the web on my laptop I knew I bought this for something... Oh the 9 movie?? Well it makes me wanna play some Borderlands.
@Pdraggy I have a feeling you'll love this South Park Episode: http://www.southparkstudios.com/full-episodes/s15e06-city-sushi
Netflix again, was watching 'The Guru', an indy (literaly) comedy. Made me think of a mix of 'Arthur' (the old one, didn't see the new one yet) and 'Don't mess with the Zohan' (or whatever it's called). A very touching comedy one might like for 'pillow talk' xD. IE a chick flick, staring the girl from legally blonde.
I think you'll find that The Guru is not a touching comedy. It's fucking shit.. And which girl from legally blonde are we talking about because I'm fairly sure neither Heather Graham nor Marisa Tomei were in Legally Blonde...
The Guru was fucking garbage. I like to make fun of bad movies and I couldn't make it through 10 minutes of it without having to change the channel.
