  1. Finding Dory's Dildo

No action. No funny. Soooo boring.

  2. Did she find her dildo? And what kind was it?

    Private Resort

This was Johnny Depp's first starring role. So much of the humor would not fly in today's world of political correctness and feminism and that's what made it so amusing to watch. It had jokes about cross dressers, date rape, and giving girls Quaaludes, and an attractive girl gets naked at least once ever five minutes. Everything about it was so 1980's it hurt. It was a male fantasy from a time when men were still allowed to be men. Nowadays we get fucking bullshit like an all female remake of Ghostbusters with a bunch of unfunny women because feminists don't understand humor and want to punish us.

  4. Bridge of Spies

It was good. Typical Tom Hanks stuff.

  5. Star Trek Beyond

The plot was pretty weak and could have been done in 30 minutes. The bad guys were also kind of weak. Fortunately there was still enough Star Trek goodness to make it worthwhile. 7/10

    The Nice Guys

I can see what they were trying to do with this: a funny buddy detective movie crossed with the off-beat humor style of The Big Lebowski. But it was kind of boring and just didn't work. It was never funny enough or action packed enough to be all that interesting. The plot was meandering. The stuff with the daughter character was supposed to be funny, but was mostly just weird and creepy. My wife is a huge Ryan Gosling fan and she fell asleep.

    5/10

  7. The Purge: Anarchy

A good bad movie. Better than the first and keeps a good pace; reminded me of schlocky 80s movies in a way. Worth a watch - I'd give it 6 out of 8.

  8. Ghostbusters

So being that the original Ghostbusters is one of my all time favorite movies I was both excited and concerned about this reboot. I was worried they'd make some kind of half-ass slapstick remake that was nothing like the original. Well I'm happy to say they didn't do that. They actually did a really good job keeping to the feel and theme of the original. The only problem with that is the actors just couldn't deliver the same deadpan humor that we got out of the original cast. So while I felt the movie was alright I don't think I ever laughed.

    7/10

  9. I always associate you with that ghostbusters avatar so I trust your opinion on this one. Hard act to follow but I'm glad they tried something different with it.

  10. Zoolander 2

This was terrible. Can't even explain why it was terrible. It just didn't work.

    Independence Day Resurgence

The plot was just a retread of the first movie, except now the humans have reverse engineered space fighters and ray guns. Terrible acting. Lots of dumb moments. No Will Smith. A few of the action scenes are decent.

This movie really had no reason for existing other than to be a cash grab. I guess if you're a big fan of the first movie, watch it at some point. Just keep your expectations really low.

    4/10

  12. Jason Bourne

CIA triples down on killing Bourne. Fails spectacularly. Gets pwned. Moby sings.

Good for a rental or wait until it hits Netflix.

    Desperate Hours

A movie like this is hard to rate. It was terrible. And it had no excuse for being so bad with several otherwise good actors, including Anthony Hopkins and Mickey Rourke. But it was also extremely entertaining and hilarious. Mickey Rourke hams it up to ridiculous levels. He holds a family hostage while wearing a tuxedo and delivering grandiose speeches. The woman playing the FBI agent is one of the worst actresses ever. I've seen better acting in high school plays. Mimi Rogers is also an extremely terrible actress, and is especially terrible here. This movie was so bad, it was good.

  14. The Revenant

Someone told me this movie was about watching DiCaprio crawl around in the mud. They were right. He really spend most of the movie on his hands and knees. 5/10

    The Hateful Eight

It's a total Tarantino dialog fest. Not bad but not great 6/10

    Suicide Squad

Much better than the critics said. I went with people who weren't even into super hero movies and they liked it. My only complaint is Will Smith was too likable for a character who is supposed to a heartless killer. 8/10

    The Secret Life of Pets

It was good but not very memorable. 6/10

  15. Money Monster

The Big Short with guns. Dumb movie.

    Now You See Me 2

    Also a dumb movie.

  16. John Wick

A bit over the top on violence but alright. 6/10

    American Sniper

    A good movie. 7/10

    22 Jump Street

It made me a laugh a couple of times. 6/10

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

One of the better Anime I've seen but it's about time travel which is always confusing. 7/10

  17. Gods of Egypt

This movie was a disaster. I was hoping to laugh at how bad it was, but it wasn't even entertaining. It was just terrible. I don't understand how it has a 5.5 on IMDB. That's way too high.

  18. Sausage Party

Not that great of a movie and not worth seeing in theaters but I do recommend watching it on video. The Motion Picture Association of America must have really been scratching their heads with this one. Sausage Party was able to get away with the type of stuff Team America wanted to show but had to cut to keep an R rating. Watch it for some laughs but don't watch it with your Mom. 6/10

    Don't Breathe

It's like they stretched the entire Clarice Starling vs Buffalo Bill scene from Silence of the Lambs into a whole movie. Decent acting earns it a 7/10

  19. I think I've developed selective amnesia with movies. I watch a lot but most are so run of the mill I forget within days. I look up some of the movies you guys post only to find I've seen it but recall almost nothing. Presumably this is normal. I remember the good ones or fantastically shitty ones.

    Philadelphia

I had actually never seen this movie. It was another good Denzel performance. This time he plays a lawyer defending a guy who was fired because he was gay and had AIDs. Denzel brings his A-game to every movie and always steals the show. It also reminded me that Tom Hanks used to be a better actor back in the 90's. I think he got his Oscars and just stopped trying.

    Concussion

Humans are simply not built to withstand frequent, repeated head trauma. A fact that's inconvenient for the NFL. Football players are destroying their brains and risking early dementia for our amusement.
