  1. The Artist

I loved it. It really captured the feel of 1920s silent films. It had great cinematography, acting, and music. Overall it had a really nice upbeat feel to it.

Also, that dog was amazing. He really stole the show.

  2. Everyone says its a great film but... ehh... I really don't like black and white silent movies.

  3. Most people who like it thought the same. I haven't seen it yet, and am also pretty unsure about it. A lot of people are loving it but many are also saying it's actually not that great and just gets propped up by the novelty factor... so I'm a bit unsure. I'll give it a go when I'm feeling open minded I think.

  4. Stick to Michael Bay movies dudebro. The Artist doesn't have explosions or Jason Statham punching people, so somehow I doubt it's your kind of movie.

  5. Did you let your boyfriend feel your boobs while you watched The Artist?

  6. You're really not very good at this whole homophobia thing. I'm a man so I don't have boobs.

  7. You could if you ate enough!

  8. I watched the movie Impostor from 2001 based on the pkd story. It was pretty bad. They should've never made it. And I like sci-fi too. I also watched The Woman in Black with harry potter. That was pretty boring.

But then I was finally able to watch A Simple Life with Andy Lau last week and that movie was awesome. Made up for those other 2 horrible movies.

  9. I thought the PKD based backstory for Impostor was interesting, but the execution was very bad. It had some good actors in it too, so I'm surprised it was such a mess. Vincent D'Onofrio for instance gave an epic performance as Private Pyle in Full Metal Jacket, but he seemed to just be hamming it up more than anything in Impostor.

  10. I agree with you. The way I worded my post made it sound like the story was horrible too, but it was intriguing. The movie made it so uninteresting that when it got to the climax, you were just blaaaaaa.

  11. Yeah I especially thought the dystopian setting with people living in shielded cities to protect from alien attack, with everything outside the shields being a nuked out wasteland, was very interesting. The problem is that the movie is just a snoozefest like you said. They failed to make something that should have been really interesting seem interesting at all.

  12. Chronicle

I guess camera kid never saw Spiderman. If he had he would have known he could have gone from geek to lovable super hero.

  13. he had psycho issues. too bad for him.

  14. What happened in the bedroom scene? Was it like a Hancock moment?

  15. That's what I had to assume. I wasn't sure either.. but that triggered uber-psycho in him. if he had some self-control.. imagine the possibilities.

  16. Is this a the party? Didn't he throw up on himself?

  17. Funnily enough I watched this last night. Quality film but felt it was too short. Guess the psycho threw up once she gave him a BJ, the closet homo. That group of girls when he first walked into the party were far fitter then that red headed bird, he should have tapped one of those.

  18. Chronicle sucked balls from start to finish. Because they decided to do the found footage thing, they had to come up with increasingly ridiculous ways that the thing was caught on tape with the action scenes at the end. It was also like they gave superpowers to the douche-iest, most annoying kids on the planet who couldn't even come up with anything terribly creative to do with them. Then emo boy starts acting like a retarded psycho and it's all downhill from there.

  19. And what would you do differently if you had they're powers?

  20. sex parties.. raunchy insane sex parties.
