Last movie you saw?

  1. It wasn't a terribly memorable film, aside from ScarJo in her skin tight outfit. I can't even remember what it was about really. It's all just kind of a blur of Baysplosions in my memory. I can understand how Supersonic forgot he had even seen it.

  2. it's because he went to a hotel with some Indian food afterwards

  3. That should be turned into some sort of movie

  4. Black Widow and Hawkeye were more closely related to the Loki/portal storyline than any of the other characters outside of Tony Stark. It's essentially Black Widow/Hawkeye/Iron Man that take down Loki and the portal in the finale. Thor and Hulk wreak havoc and break stuff but don't directly influence the outcome (Thor doesn't fare very well against Loki in this flick...trapped into Hulk's container by Loki on the carrier, then stabbed by Loki on the Stark building), and Captain America spends all his time protecting civilians on the ground.

  5. Snow White and the Huntsmen:

Finally got around to seeing this I actually really enjoyed this film. I like fantasy films of this type so it was always going to be somewhat enjoyable to me. A great live action take on the Disney film.

  6. That's the basic plot of both Harold and Kumars lol maybe all three but the last one hadn't hit cable tv yet so I'd not seen it.

  7. Re-watched Anchorman the other day. I enjoyed it well enough but I don't get why it's considered to be so good in some circles. Feels like they could have done more with the premise really.

  8. Dude. That was months ago. I got atleast 2 new situations involving food that I can recall. But they probably won't live up to the last one.

  9. You need to start up a thread with all your food escapades. We could turn it into a book in the future.

  10. I would read that.

  11. Expendables 2

Van Damme was hilariously hammy as a villain literally named "vilain." There's a part where he kickboxes a knife into a dude's chest in a moment of cartoonish supervillainy that had me in tears I was laughing so hard. Arnie and Bruce Willis don't show up in a big way until late in the movie, but it's pretty awesome when they do.

I was a bit disappointed that some of the action stars didn't have bigger roles; and some of it looked kind of cheap and B-movie-ish, but I'm pretty sure that's because they blew their budget on getting so many action stars.

    7/10

  12. Rock of Ages

Listen to a "Best of the 80's" album and you'll get the same experience, minus Russell Brand attempting to be funny and Tom Cruise doing terrible karaoke.

    Safety Not Guaranteed

It was funnier than I expected, but the ending was kind of dumb. I guess I just liked the idea of the guy being a lovable nutjob better than him being someone who had actually built a time machine.

  13. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter:

Thought it was quite a good film, but normal action standard. Well worth a watch though.

  14. Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

I liked how it showed how different kinds of people would cope with a hopeless situation, sometimes in a comical way. But the ending was such a huge downer, and I didn't feel like Steve Carrell and Keira Knightly had any romantic chemistry.

    Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

First of all, how the fuck is this a real movie? Second, this was one of the dumbest things I've seen.

I'd say the biggest problem with this movie is that it takes itself very, very seriously, instead of just embracing its campy B-movie premise. The movie should have been fun, but it's not.

  15. Super 8

lol he used a katamari ^.^

  16. Looper

Excluding the fact that it shouldn't be considered a 'science fiction' but rather a fantasy title (due to how fucking ridiculous it is), the movie's pretty good.

  17. Treevenge.

  18. That is not a movie!

  19. The Thing (2011)

It was alright, nothing special and you could see a few of the bits coming a mile off.

  20. Super Man vs The Elite

4/5 It’s not the best nor the worst of DC productions but it’s a decent Super Man animation.

    Looper

I had mixed feeling about this movie and it took me a day to decide if I liked it. Personally I didn’t feel it was as good as Inception but I liked Inception a lot. 3/5
