They couldn't make anything worse than those godawful prequels. Those were some of the most disappointing movies I've ever seen.
Cockneys vs Zombies: In the same vein as Shaun of the dead and Doghouse, but no where as good. Didnt turn out as funny as I thought it was.
Total Recall Remake I expected it to be bad, but it was actually a pretty good action/sci-fi movie in its own right. Although I thought the Arnie version was more fun. 7/10
Have any of you watched Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn? It's a mini-series MS made to hype up the Halo 4 launch this coming Tuesday.. all live action and they dropped $10 million into. I will warn you that the first 2 eps and three-quarters of the way into ep 3 is as slow as walking dead season 2. They lost me after ep 1, but my friend insisted that I keep with it. It gets pretty damn good later on. Truthfully, the story gets lost on me. I have no idea what this mini story at the beginning has to do with anything, if Lasky is someone I should know or not. Four episodes are out already, and the final fifth episode will be out tomorrow.
The Decent: Part 2 So what’s the best thing to do after escaping a deep dark cavern full of monsters? Go back in of course. Despite the bad set-up and bad ending, the movie was actually okay for a horror movie.
Wishmaster 3 The first one was at least respectable. This one was more like an R rated version of the Power Rangers.
7 Psychopaths Incredibly funny and different. Also very over the top violent but usually in a black comedy way. If you've seen in Brudges you'd know what to expect for the violence, this steps it up a notch from that. On the whole it's kind of like In Brudges meets The Hangover with a bit of a Pulp Fiction feel to the whole thing. That probably sounds weird and terrible, but you have to watch it to understand. I found it very entertaining and refreshing
Ted I enjoyed the gay jokes about Ryan Reynolds and the Flash Gordon stuff. A lot of it fell flat though. Kind of felt like an overlong episode of Family Guy, which is not surprising considering it was done by Seth MacFarlane.
Total Recall(2012): Was a good stand alone film but the original is so much better. The two fit girls made it better to watch though.
I would smash Kate so hard. Have had a thing for her since Underworld. Who was the good chick? I recognized her but couldn't fit a name to the face.
