Did you watch it at 48fps or 24fps? I didn't really notice the length of time both times I watched it. Although there was a bloody annoying woman sat next to me who would not stop fidgeting and shifting positions and also saying stuff like "he's a cute dwarf" and other rubbish.
It sounds like Armadeadn and his boyfriend really enjoyed the movie . He has a sore bum and a smile on his face.
Sleepy Eyes of Death 2: Sword of Adventure This installment ups the ante over the first one. The story is tighter, and the Full Moon Cut technique is used to greater effect as a signature element for Kyoshiro. He also delivers this timely line when a young kid asks to be taught swordsmanship: "No! Swords are only for killing. Nothing more. Nothing less."
You know. For some reason I thought Chi would have been the one to make the butt sex joke, I should've known it would have been you. That joke was so dull. I'm pretty sure I said bum, as in referring to the butt cheeks. Had I been on about my anus as you clearly are, I would have said my anus. I know you're smarter than to make such a predictable and dreary joke. It's like you don't even bother anymore. These days you just insinuate homosexuality add faggot to the end of things you don't care for. Please try harder in future.
Not you too. It's sad that you can't mention your bum to grown adults without someone making an anal sex joke. I wonder if there was a time when that was funny.
We all know Monkey has a deep hidden love for everything gay but hides his shame through gay bashing of others. :-*
Cinderella I've never actually seen the whole movie until now. It's pretty good considering the age of it.
I for some reason went on a Sleeping Beauty binge. I think I liked the UK one more than Mirror Mirror. that one had Dwarves with magic.
Get The Gringo 7/10 If the movie Payback took place in a Mexican prison it would be Get the Gringo. It's no surprise this went strait to video or that it was apparently filmed in Mexico given Mel's current predicament. However if you can ignore Mel's personal problems it is a pretty good movie and worth a watch.
Taken 2 It was entertaining for the moment I guess, but just kind of forgettable. It had the same basic premise as the first one, just with the ex-wife thrown into the mix as a kidnap victim, and Istanbul as the setting instead of Paris. It wasn't terrible, but it was definitely one of the more unnecessary sequels I've seen. And for the record, I liked the original Taken a lot. I thought it was a good throwback to classic overblown 80s and 90s action movies like Commando and Die Hard.
Life of Pi It's Forest Gump meets Castaway with 200% less Tom Hanks. A good film, kind of dragged on after a while but I'd recommend it. Definitely worth a look, even I was able to look past all the God bullshit.
See, I thought it was awful. Missed out so much from the book and you didn't even get the feeling that much time had passed. It was pretty cringe worthy. Some of the scenes were very pretty though
I didn't read the book. If I did I'd be jut like you complaining about how the film isn't exactly like the book. My dad loved it though, and he read the book.
I felt the religious aspect was way too heavy handed. In the book, the actual story with Richard Parker itself is the metaphor for religion. I thought those green screen fades between scenes a bit over done too.
Senna This was a really well made documentary about a legendary Brazilian race car driver and his tragic death, and you don't need to be a fan of formula one racing to get into it. I'm pretty sure the douchey French guy who was Senna's rival was the inspiration for the villain in Talladega Nights.
I watched quite a few movies through the holidays. Jack Reacher - good action movie. tom cruise reprised his solo badass role again. the beginning was pretty hard to watch due to the content. The Hobbit - i was super surprised about how much i enjoyed this. i liked it just as much as i liked lotr, if not more. peter jackson still has it. Savages - enjoyable. benicio del toro's performance was good stuff.
I saw this on your recommendation. Pretty good flick to watch if you're bored. The description is perfect as a silent sequel to Payback.
Lets see. I watch The Day the Earth Stood still and 2012, both on December 21st. I think FX was running an end of the world marathon.
