  1. I wouldn't mind seeing it. I do like time travelling stuffs.

  2. You liked the Time travelers Wife?

  3. I actually really liked The Time Traveler's Wife, although it was a horribly depressing film.

This looks like it might be okay as a torrent download. That's usually the route I go when the trailer and reviews don't seem to match up.

  4. That Paedo creep film?

  5. This movie is the best sci-fi I have seen in a very long time, and easily the best film of 2012.

Go to the cinema and watch it now.. I did not expect to see what I saw, dark, twisted, violent and action filled. It is stunning that this film was made for $30Million. Superb stuff

  6. I dunno. I don't think I can get over Gordon-Levitt's freaky, unnatural face.

  7. Since when did face snobbery become cool, you probably look uglier than JGL's face covered in Nutella and cherries.. ;)

  8. No no no, I'm fine with his normal, natural born face. It's just the freaky, unnatural face in this film that weirds me out.

    Also; YOUR a BEECH!

  9. It most definitely should not be considered science fiction, since nothing has a chance of being scientifically accurate in the movie, it's a fucking fantasy film, please get it right next time.

  10. Are you fucking retarded 90 percent of sci fi is high fantasy or proposals for ideas that are science FICTION. Look at every categorization of this film its sci fi go back to raping your mother you fucking inbreed.

  11. My point, so why are you getting angry at me for pointing out the mistake you just confessed to making?

Also, I think you meant inbred, right?

  12. Time travel = SciFi, dunnit?

The Time Traveller's Wife = SciFiRomgedy or summit.

  13. Technically science fiction is supposed to have scientifically plausible premises; Looper lacks those completely.

  14. Do they actually make an effort to explain the science behind the time travel in this film? I think that's usually considered the difference between science fiction and fantasy in regards to time travel themes. For example, you could easily make the case that Inception is more in line with fantasy than sci-fi, as the audience was basically asked to just accept the dream invasion stuff at face value without explanation.

  15. You don't need an explanation, even characters in movies watch tv. Everybody knows it's the flux capacitor that makes time travel possible.

By this stupid definition any movie with a car chase would be science fiction.

  16. Cars already exist in reality. There's no "fiction" involved regarding the technology. Invading people's dreams and implanting memories is fiction, but it's only "science" fiction if there's an attempt to explain the science aspect. If not, it's fantasy.

For example, Hulk and Thor are both superhero's, but Hulk is more science fiction oriented due to the fact that his powers come from a scientific explanation (exposure to gamma radiation), while Thor is purely a fantasy oriented character (Norse mythology).

  17. But surely the fact there's time travel puts it straight into scifi territory? Doesn't matter if it's not explained, it's still scifi.

  18. Interesting differentiation. I suppose I'm just not that anal, and literally could care less. About the cars thing, I was referring to car chase scenes where vehicles are rarely bound to the laws of physics.

  19. Time travel and travel to alternate realities exist in fantasy fiction. For example, the original Dark Shadows TV series had time travel story lines that were accomplished through the occult, i.e., "magic". Those types of devices essentially avoid any kind of connection to a real world explanation for what happens. The less emphasis on scientific explanation there is, the easier it is to argue that it's fantasy.

  20. I'm pretty sure the time travel in looper is tech based though
