Online mode is going to be epic, but I have not played any games like this since Street Fighter Alpha 3. Hopefully there won't to many complicated super and mega combo's.
My copy is already pre-ordered. I played an early build in October and it was an outstanding game. It could only have got better since then..
Last one I played like this was on the Saturn with the ram cart; that was good fun indeed so I'm tempted to give this a go.
The cool thing about MvC is that unlike Street Fighter 4 it's very freindly to beginners and advanced players alike. There are fewer buttons and chaining combos is simply a case of learning button combos with some stick motion as opposed to some of the rediculously insane one-frame link combos that SF4 was full of. I like Street Fighter in general but the game in my eyes has gone too technical. This though solves that problem nicely. You're even presented with an option to choose beginner or advanced control schemes. Great stuff. Some of the supers are insane too. So are the characters; Arthur from Ghouls and Ghosts is a playable character...mental.
