The encryption test is already optimized, but the image test has plenty of room left for multi-core optimization.
My poor little laptop result. No idea what it means but the overall Encryption score seems to be higher than Khaid's i5, is that normal? Some of the numbers are lower but the last one is higher which is probably where the score comes from.
Interesting. I'll run it on both of my laptops when I get home. My 15 inch Acer has a similar cpu to your's if not the same. My alienware is running the old su7300 core2duo.
It ends up very close to my Sandy Bridge i3 at a similar clock speed when it comes to image processing but the Encryption is a long way out. Maybe I got an erroneous result on that? Could CS's code be at fault ?
Sandy Bridge may be better at intense (UBX2H) rearranging of data. SpeedSpec 1.1 Changelog - Image Processing Multi-Threaded - larger data stream (4MB/32MB) for Encryption
You have a fast CPU and no SSD. Each test measures your PC in a different way. Higher scores means it's better. Future tests: physics, 3D graphics, compression, language, AI
