Decided to quickly replicate my favourite pebble watch face on the 360 It's the same grey text in both faces, just iffy camera colourshifting.
Replicated a Nooka watch face. That minutes bar took way too much time to figure out. I still don't understand how it works
Nice! This is what I was talking about before... I couldn't figure out how to make the watch fit to screen. The demo unit I played with would zoom everything to where you'd see like 10% of anything on the screen. Stupid BestBuy.
Is there a point in getting one of these if you have a phone, or is it more of a show off kind of thing? Would love that Goldeneye one though but I bet most people who saw it on you would not realize what it was from.
@supersonic. Weird, must have been one buggy device since pretty much everything works with the screen size. Some apps made for the square watches don't play well with the round face until they're updated. @phisix. It's mostly shiny tech, but they're mainly used as notification devices. So if you have an incoming email/text/call you can quickly glance at your watch instead of taking out your phone. Say I was driving and I received a call from grim, because he's needy like that. Instead of having to suffer with my phone ringing in my pocket for however long he's hanging on for, I can see who's calling on my watch. Then I can just swipe the call away. You can also read and dismiss the texts and emails that you receive, so you don't need to bother getting your phone out if it's not important. I've installed a calculator app, camera app and a sleep tracker. Played about with the web browser but it seems a bit pointless.
Don't think so. Not officially at least, though there is someone who's done it over on the XDA forums. http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-360/help/pairing-m360-multiple-android-devices-t2877500
I think I might be coming around to these things, it has a lot of potential. It would be cool if this waterproof watch could interact with your phone anywhere via 3G/LTE. I can't image it would use a ton of data. How far away can you get from your phone?
It uses Bluetooth, so probably around 5-8m. I can leave my phone on the coffee table and wander about but leaving the room generally disconnects.
The next update enables WiFi on the watch, so you can roam further from your phone. If you bought an lg watch/lg watch R, you're out of luck. No WiFi in those devices
