Does anyone remember what film it is that has the army robots and some lady with 80's hair and the shape shifting spaceship? I think the robots could turn invisible but would overheat and needed to be kept cool or something. They could rebuild themselves from bits of scrap and there was a fire in a building. That's all I remember.

No because he managed to describe Batteries Not Included in a different way whilst we were playing Destiny on Monday, he described it as 'a confused old woman and a man with a pony tail with it all ending with destruction' if I remember correctly.
