    I know the OnePlus One had issues with some UK networks too, not sure if the 2 is 100% with all of them now.

    The stupid invite only sales are crap and no NFC.

    Yeah those invites were a terrible idea. If you want me to buy your phone, let me buy it.

    I was interested in the oneplusone but then cyanogenmod and those invites instantly dismissed it from my list.

    Oneplusone/oneplustwo 2 are also terrible names.

    The invite system is just marketing spin for out of stock. If you try to buy one and it's in stock you should get your invite instantly. Or you wait until the next weekly shipment is ready and miraculously get your invite ahead of it.

    I'm going to get badgered about this tomorrow so is the general thinking any of them are ok but not great?

    Yes. I have the HP Stream desktop as a HTPC and it works well enough. The off-lease Thinkpad is a good idea if they can be had in the budget range.

    Recommend me a 2 in 1 laptop for < $400 for a middle school teen.

    You got ripped off. That will only run a mobile OS and 5.7" is shit for a laptop.

    @bfun. Wait for a Lenovo sale next weekend.
