Anyone else played Mario Kart 7? Really enjoying this game(as usual for Mario Kart) although it is far too easy on 50cc. Nice to see old school levels again, and the game itself looks as great as it does on the Wii.
I have it, the controls can be a bit awkward but it is fun enough. Can you play it online? If so I could give you a thrashing at some point if ya want. I can still remember how badly I destroyed you on Mario Kart Wii, you wasn't able to show your face on the forum for months afterwards.
The controls are easy for me, and it is nice to have jump sliding back, especially for boosting. Yeah you can play it online, but you never gave me a thrashing it was Monsly when us three used to play it. My two stars next to your one Yeah it is online but let me unlock some more features first as only still on 50cc and would like to know the levels more as you obviously know them. Rainbow Road from the Snes Mario Kart is in this game. 8) Both were great, but the Wii one had better levels, online and Bikes which were better than the karts. The Gold kart on Double Dash was awesome though.
Completed 50cc and 100cc on MK7 now with two stars on each cup minimum. I also tried out online to see what it was like and it was quite fun. I only played one race but I won. I finally got Tales of the Abyss today. A huge RPG to keep my RPG juices flowing and as a PS2 port and a tales game it is bound to be amazing. 5 games to keep me occupied until Paper Mario 3DS is released. 8)
I had no idea there was a new Mickey Mouse Illusion game but apparently there is and it is on the 3DS. The review I read said that it is a fantastic plat former and the only con they could come up with is that the later levels might be too hard for some people. Hopefully those of us who grew up on the Sega games should be ready for a platforming challenge. Been a while since a 3DS game has come out that has peeked my interest but seeing how good castle of illusion was and this being a follow on from that I think I will have to look into this.
Epic Mickey 2 is a PS3/360/Wii U game, this is part of the Epic Mickey cannon but it is a continuation of the castle of illusion story with the same enemy (witch whatever her name was) behind it.
Just checked up online as I originally thought it was the 3DS version of Epic Mickey 2, but you were right it is a sequel. Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion. Castle of Illusion was awesome back in the day, but this looks to piss all over it, especially having you meet Disney characters in friend or foe form.
Wow! Was looking through IGN and found an article about registering your 3DS XL on the Nintendo clubsite and you get a choice of 3 free games. The only two worthy enough is Mario 3D Land and the new Proff Layton. So I registered mine and I have to wait a few days for the code to buy it off the E-Store. Nice one Nintendo it saves me £30.
I finally got my code for my free download of Professor Layton and the miracle mask but Nintendo says it cannot be used till the 1st of January 2013. Was looking forward to playing that. Guess I can either buy Virtues Last Rewards(A quality puzzle and story game) or wait for the new Paper mario in the mean time.
Yeah but I have finished all of my 3DS games now except Mario Kart so it would have been nice to play it now. Still, its free so I shouldnt complain lol.
Can finally download my free copy of Professor Layton tomorrow, but will I have enough time now I have plenty of games on my Vita I don't know. No harm in having it for when I have finished my Vita games.
More 3DS games being announced along with a new Mario and Luigi Rpg(The Super Star Series) and a port to 3D for the Wii Donkey Kong Returns(Country). Seems like the 3DS is the handheld of choice for this generation as the Vita still has a small library. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Fire Emblem: Awakening and Luigi's Mansion 2 out soon too so you best start dusting this bad boy off.
