Pirates of the carribbean: On Stranger Tides

    We need a thread on this film. Most people thoroughly enjoyed the other triliogy.

    Supposedly from reading up a little bit, this film will be about the Fountain of youth, with mermaids and the villain of the film: Blackbeard.

    I saw the trailer for this when I went to see Tron: Legacy, it was weird though because they had a "Jack Sparrow talking to the audience" segment before it with him "recruiting" us to go search for the fountain of youth with him. It all seemed rather cheesy.

    Yes. Yes it did.

    I thought the first one was decent, considering it was based on a theme park ride, but the sequels were lame. I fell asleep during the third one.

    I enjoyed the first one but share cmdrmonkey sentiments regarding the others. They really didn't hold my attention at all.

    Haha, yes. That was in the third movie.
