Just realized I could get a 14 day PSplus trial so did that so I can play Ducktales remastered and Prototype 2. I also saw deals for MGS5 Ground Zeros for £3.99 and Tales of Xillia DLC bundle for £8 so bought them for a cheap £11.99. This should keep me going for a while along with Evil Within and GTA5 still to finish.
Wondering of this is the point where my PS3 goes quiet. Got Shadow of Mordor, Resident Evil HD, Lords of Fallen, Dragon Age Inquisition, AC unity, GTA V, inFamous Last Light and next week Grim Fandango queued up on PS4. Bloodbourne is out soon and I may even pick up the PS4 version of Dark Souls II as I never got the DLC and they have changed other bits such as dialogue. Could also look at The Order. All of a sudden plenty to do on my PS4 and nothing on PS3. Have something in the region of 70 PS3 games so have plenty to replay in the future I guess, as a console it hasn't done bad.
Was yesterday your birthday? I'd start with Shadow of Mordor and leave a gap between that and AC Unity.
It's today. Started Mordor today, not done much at all just learning all the mechanics. Just taken down the slaver and realised that I need to find some power struggles to get some new upgrades as ability points don't seem to do much without P.
Downloaded the Fnal Fantasy 14: A realm Reborn trial last night. Took 6gb to download then another 10GB for the newest. Went to have a quick try on it and managed to play non stop for 4 hours. A very addictive MMO...WoW who? You can get your own house and decorate it, build airships ect. better than wow already for me, although seems a bit easy so far. Level 9 already.
I have decided Sony are tight. £40-£60 depending on where you get it for a new Dual Shock 4 and they don't even include a USB cable. You can get them for £1 in any pound shop. Tight bastards!
It must be like looking in a mirror. What must you have thought when Nintendo stopped including chargers for the 3DS.
It really is a con, they cost them nothing to make in some Chinese sweat shop and yet they stop including them and charging a premium for it.
Yeah, I ended up buying USB 3DS charger cables and plugging it into a 5 port USB mains Anker box thing. Saves so many sockets. Means I can also charge from a portable battery. Anyone around this evening?
Fucking not impressed. Been playing the Final fantasy 14 ARR trial and after reaching the level 20 cap I wanted to buy the game through PSN but it would not let me and I did it through the Square-Enix site and I realized I had got the Windows version. I did not even see anything saying windows only on the payment places. I have written an email to support to see if they can reverse the payment or whatever but I have a bad feeling I will be fucked over. £20 down the drain if so. Just thinking now I could have deleted the trial game and seen if that would allow me to buy the game properly but the download size for the game is 6GB and the updates on 10GB so that would have been as annoying. Fingers crossed I hear some good news tomorrow.
Update: Just received a reply and luckily I can get a full refund. However my account will have to be terminated and I will have to start all over again so that is three days worth of playing down the drain but it should not take me long to get back to the point I was in. I would have needed to level up another class to 15 anyway to unlock the Ninja class so I can start with that one which would save me time. I had also not done any professions either so this time I know what to do and can do it as I level which will save some time too. I just hope the refund comes in fast and not by the end of next week.
Anyone else tried the Battlefield: Hardline beta yet? Just installed it now will see if reaches the hype that has been going around.
I can't make tonight - snowed under with work I'm afraid. May be out next week going by the pile of work I'm dealing with. Gah.
