Been too busy to pick it up recently, bit annoying. Also been playing a bit of minecraft and pokemon. LOL
I probably won't be bothering with KZ3 for a while at least. The move is keeping me far too busy and Infamous 2 which is out next week is higher up on my wanted list.
Only for the next couple of weeks, from April I should have plenty of time and money to get back into things. Despite all of the packing we have done so far my headset still hasn't turned up. If it doesn't turn up when I move next week then I can honestly say that one is a mystery. Just feel shattered at the moment, spending all my time shopping, decorating and packing or at work and it doesn't feel like I am getting any rest. Still most of he hard work is done now, carpet going down Friday as well as new bed arriving and then I just need to pick up some bedroom furniture for our room and the child's room. After that its just a case of moving stuff from one place to the other.
I know how you feel. I've got way too much going on at the moment, not good. Looking forward to April. That had better be a more relaxed month.
My headset DID NOT turn up when we moved, no idea what could have happened to it. What should I get to replace it then kids?
I've got the earlier official headset and that's been good - there was a new version released a few months back so I'd have thought that would be as good if not better. Hopefully I'll be free for some online stuff in a week or so. I've only been able to get on for a few half hour sessions in the last couple of weeks. KZ3 has been pretty damn fun online BTW.
Seeing as nothing decent has come or is coming out I 'might' pick it up. Will see how I feel about it later in the week.
The single player was decent but nothing spectacular aside from the graphics; that said, I've enjoyed the online far more than KZ2. All the classes being available at the beginning is cool. You get to level each class as you see fit. I've focussed on the engineer but I'm now torn between sniper and infiltrator - not sure which to go for.
What a surprise. Were you running it on your PC at 2560x1600 which is 77% higher then Full HD, and a FPS thats no lower then a constant 120FPS? I bet you were.
I looked at the official Sony Mic online and tis only £25 so its £10 less than what I paid for the last one at least. I shall decide what to get when I get paid on Thursday. I HAVE TO buy something as I have nothing to play at all at the moment but it is a question of what. I now have money to burn so no more painstaking decisions on whether or not to buy games which is always a nice thing.
Whoa whoa whoa. You paid £35 for your PS3 headset is that correct? I broke my own personal rule by not buying an official headset. I got a 3rd party one for about £15 I think. Well they took a couple of quid off because I was buying like 5 games at the time to start off my PS3 collection. It works just fine. So all that time we struggled to hear what you were saying over the crackling you were using a £35 headset? Hmmm.
It was over 2 years old by that point and I was having the upload problems with Virgin Media. Before that it was a fantastic mic and worked really well, Monsly used to have the same one. I had a cheap third party one before that and took it back as it was useless but I can't remember the make or model. You couldn't even get the thing to stay on your head properly.
I'm surprised you haven't told us all you've got one given the pork pies you've been telling on here for the last couple of days. A PS3 emu running on a Cyberdyne Systems AI System or some crap no doubt..
Had quite a few games of KZ3 with AKS tonight (far more than I planned indeed - think my wife's not too mad). Have to say it was great fun; probably helped by the great form I was in (for some ungodly reason). If I had more time free then I could easily see this becoming a timesink like the MWs were for me. The battles can flow so differently and the tactics involved can be pretty varied. Terrific stuff.
I was a bit surpised how good the online multiplayer in KZ3 is. The removal of the assault class in particular improved things quite a bit. I think the classes are much more balanced.
