I could write an essay on how I feel about Destiny, but I won't. Here's the TL;Dr version. Love it at first. Was really repetitive but getting better gear was addictive. The addiction slowly turned to tedium. Got bored of the sheer lack of things to do. Realised that the combat is perfect but everything else is bullshit/lacking/broken. Stopped playing. Bought first expansion with friends, played a few more months. Got bored again. Realised what Activision's business model for this game money making platform is. Put the game down. Heard Taken King made loads of welcome changes. Too little too late, Bungie. Ceased dealings with Destiny, a game that could have been something special, but turned out to be a greedy cash grab with little content variety. -time passes- Watches trailer for Destiny 2 with cautious pessimism.
kinda thought it was obvious when the game was announced especially when they intended to give the game a 10 year life. this is also the state of world of warcraft right now. they made a lot of changes with the last patch but the content changes since then left a lot to be desired. since then, blizzard has released hearthstone and heroes of the storm. games that live off of microtransactions. I bet overwatch will be a similar style too. and in related news Activision blizzard purchased King (devs of candy crush) for 5.9 billion usd.
Wasn't there some kind of debate a while back about candy crush being copied from some other developers code?
The EU Playstation blog says November 3rd so we might be able to play Magicka tonight if we are on for PS Wednesday.
What is it? Also, Walking dead season, not bad. Edit: Yeah I just downloaded both of them now. Four man team up i'll be up for that.
I am starting to get that but I am still enjoying the game at the moment, but most of my time now im level 40 is doing weeklys, finishing up all quests and farming for better gear via emgrams etc. Destiny 2 will need to do something for end game as no doubt in a week or two I might be bored of everything. The raids are not that great either but after WoW and FF14 that is to be expected. Take FF14 for instance, that game is chock full of content and it's all different too other than just gear grind. perfect MMO that.
We won't be playing Magicka 2 again... Phisix, you need to change your party settings to allow your voice to be recorded.
Just picked up the Playstation 2.0 headphones as they were £49 on Amazon. Pretty impressive so far, not tried the chat yet but sound is good on games.
Monsly! Edmund has said he may not release afterbirth on Vita or Wii U as he isn't happy with performance, at the moment its being developed for PS4 only so you may have to play on full console.
That's a bugger. Binding of Isaac is a perfect fit for the vita. Any word on when after birth is out?
