  1. Wasn't really thinking earlier. I have two PS3s, and two accounts. So I'll pick up infamous, LBP, and two other games, and trade in the copies I have.

  2. Hahaha! Nice Cmdr, work the bloody system!

  3. Infamous was a fantastic game, really enjoyed it and really looking forward to the sequal which is due very soon.

I will probably go for Wipeout and Dead Nation then.

  4. I've got 3 accounts (2 UK and 1 US) - I wonder if that means if I can get EVERYTHING?

  5. Your such a thieving scoundrel.

  6. The US welcome pack replaces ratchet and clank with super stardust hd.

I've got a UK, US and JP account. I wonder if it's worth checking out the JP welcome pack. If they have one

  7. According to this news article, most gamers are pretty pissed off by Sony's welcome back program. For more then 3 weeks PSN was down, people get a meager games list to choose from, which of most gamers allread had.

  8. I'm not sure how you can infer that most gamers are pee'd off by the welcome pack when you link to a Dutch news article where, from what I can see from the comments, there are plenty of people who are satisfied.

My favourite comment? "Then you make someone happy with a dead sparrow"

You can't please all the people all of the time

  9. I believe Hellripper received a bad touch from a PS3. That's the only explanation that makes sense.

  10. I'm going to take everything I can, even all the PSP stuff. Whilst I appreciate the gestures they've made, it doesn't make up for what they've done. I heard something about a free credit protection thing from Sony; anyone know about that?

  11. Another article (in Dutch again) about Sony's scarce aproach to compensate its users.

  12. Keep up with the hourly updates of what a few Dutch gamers think. I've upgraded this newsworthiness to 29 on my Fahrenheit scale of truthiness importance.

  13. That's some interesting stuff there. Did he cancel all social events because he was waiting for PSN to come back on?

  14. I know there's a system already in place in the states that means that if someone has their identity stolen and money was lost they would get the money back. Supposedly this insurance is good for up to $1m. Not sure about the UK though.

  15. Hypothetical question based on recent events for you all: what's the likelihood of of a separate organisation setting up its own psn type network for ps3 owners - could it ever be done? I'm not tech savvy enough but I know however there are some here who would have more of an clue than myself, I say that it would be squashed almost immediately - what do you guys think? It's the only thing stopping me from getting a ps3 b I want to play gt5 online with the money cheat intact and not removed by a petty oem for the sake of "fair play".......

  16. Zero chance. Some games allow LAN play I'm sure but that's it. GT5 isn't so bad without the infinite money cheats and people can gift cars to you - I gave loads in the past. Once you've got a great car, you're pretty much set.

  17. PSN store is back - no sign of welcome back package but everyone should have access to this month's PS+ - this includes a Magic: The Gathering game, Streets of Rage 2 and the PS1 version of Robocod - just for Grim. There's also some discounts, free minis and themes.

  18. I think I already have at least 5 different versions of Robocod. Tried to play the GBA version over christmas and got wound up with it, the game seems a lot harder now I am older.

Finding the bloody elves (penguins in other versions) to unlock the exit isn't much fun either.

  19. I still remember the cheat at the beginning after all these years. I use to love the game back in the day but it seems pretty shitty now.

  20. There are 2 places you can do it, at the start of the 'world map' and in the first level so it was best to do it in the first level and then when it wore off use the 'world map'.

Even using it twice it would not last the entire game, I think the farthest I ever managed to get with it was the big Viking woman boss. The game is really tough.

You have to remember that this is game developed by a couple of people because of its Amiga roots and I have always held it in high regards because of this. With all 3 games they went in very different directions, I remember enjoying the first back in my Amiga days but when I look at it now it looks very basic. I think Robocod was the peak of the series, a fantastic platformer when you consider it isn't something made by a big corp. James Pond 3 was just a disaster all round and I regret ever paying for that.
