Just Harper would suffice, that's what most of my mates call me. Some of them just call me Harp out of either affection or sheer laziness. At work I'm Alex, with my mates I'm Harper and when I'm with you guys I'm whatever takes your fancy at the time it seems
I can just make multiple profiles. Picked up Uncharted 2 and Final Fantasy XIII today and that just about brings all of my old games back. I am picking up Grand Turismo 5 and a controller off someone for £23 tomorrow and that will be it for games until October as I need to pay off things.
Bought GT5 and a second controller today just waiting for the annoying update to finish before I can play. Monsly, the PES 2012 demo is out now mate if your interested.
I keep meaning to try that demo. I'll try to make some time soon. GT5 has had some monster updates; it's cool they've added a lot but they can be annoying. Hopefully it's settled down now.
Well I will be playing it if this dam n update actually finishes. It has been downloading for the last hour+ and it is only on 18%. Taking the piss as I just want to play this.
Why wouldn't they? You played it shit loads after all. I've recently been back on it since getting a proper wheel set. Really shows off the handling and physics if the game.
You can always cancel the update if you're desperate. What kind of internet are you on? Seems like a long time for an update.
Sky internet and its above average for speed. My PS3 is wired. The update is 600mb mind so that is a monster. Nah, I would rather just wait and get it over with. This game best be worth it now.
It's a very good game with stupid, easy to fix flaws. With less arrogance and more focus on fun it could have been absolutely amazing. 600mb shouldn't take ages on decent broadband. I reckon you've got Swedish neighbours nicking your internet. Bastards.
Shouldn't as I have it password protected. I may have to give Sky a ring once I pay the rest of my bill.
Shall we go for one of our Nuhrburgring specials sometime this week? Looks like we've got a new song and the ability to change outfits/helmets.
You'll want to make as many B spec drivers as you can, share them online and befriend a bunch of hardcore GT B spec players. They can earn you moneys whilst you're doing bugger all. I just collected about 6 million credits off three of my guys. We have a bunch of stock cars that we tend to race, found the original topic: http://forum.pcvsconsoles.com/viewtopic.php?pid=6#p6
So we can only use those 4 cars online? How do you befriend people and what is the difference between B and A Spec?
We use other cars too but those four give us a simple, fair race. In GT career mode, there are two parts, A spec and B spec. A spec is your standard drive and progress kinda thing whilst B spec is exactly the same except with your AI driver. You get to give them basic commands like speed up, slow down, overtake and pit etc. Your B spec driver will level up like you and at higher levels tend not to require that much input from you. They're ruddy useless when they first start out though. B spec is a bit pointless really, sharing your drivers so that they can take part in other peoples' races is just an easy, if slowish way to earn money whilst you're at work/school/prison. Just add people to your PSN that you know play GT5 a lot. I just went to GTplanet, added a few likeminded folk and B specced away.
Dirty cheater aint you lol. You do race each other with your own skills don't you? an hour and its only gone from 70% to 78%. Annoying. I have been listening to crap on Youtube though so I will stop now and check again at 3am. Edit: It finally finished and I had my first 30 mins on it. Very enjoyable, but the loading times between each race were very annoying. I did the first Sunday race series and got 1st place on all three races.(Of course) I also did that level 1 Go-kart series which was very fun and got gold on those two races too. So far so good. Liking the graphics, although if I had a HD TV it would be miles better. Getting use to the game after playing arcade racer games such as NFS took a few races but I am good now. Sleep time now!
