Woops! I completed that mission which makes the blue turtles come and they are nails hard. I can still farm that single old one or go Eden. I wrote out a list so just need to farm for gil.
Monsly, Just realised I never replied to you last night. I was never going to be on long so didn't really have time for a game. Its still damn annoying that you can see messages come in (well the topic anyway) while on PS1 games but can't reply to them. I really wish they would fix that, how hard can it be to see the XMB when emulating?
Yeah, that's a bit of an oversight. Might give the Uncharted beta a go this weekend; we need to get a good multiplayer game and I did enjoy the 2nd.
I will be picking up uncharted but that doesn't count as a true online game. Not sure what else is coming, maybe mw3?
MW3 I'd be interested in, but the lack of Infinity Ward developing it makes me cautious. That Ratchet game sounded interesting; had the beta but never got around to trying it. Is Dark Souls any good for multi?
Done Vercingetorix an hour ago but only got 3 stars on him, so need 5 stars to get all missions 5 stared trophy and then only need all equipment and fell a heavyweight trophy for the plat.
It is multiplayer but not in a conventional sense. You can't really choose who you team summon or invade and there is no voice as far as I know.
Dead Island would be worth a punt, doesn't seem to have dropped in price, still £37.99 on Amazon. Dark souls seems to have gimped summoning of friends since it uses multiple servers and it requires restarts to attempt to get on the same server as a friend.
Dead Island is bound to drop soon; Deus Ex is down to near the £20 mark at the moment so it's just a matter of time.
So close to that platinum now I can taste it. I only have one trophy left which is the all equipment one. I have checked off everything on my list except things that need Dark Matter and maybe one Adamantine bar. I just got my first Dark Matter so just need four more. What is left after that if I fail to get the trophy is to get every second tier weapon as I may not have held a few of them. I will be so glad when this is done as I have neglected a few other games and just farmed for two weeks which is hardly fun.
Yeah I have been lucky I guess. I have not been smashing it either lately. The record on the ps3trophys site for someone doing the platinum is just over 60 hours lol. Going on now to get this done then I can plat GT5 and complete and Plat batman: Arkham Asylum.
You'd need fantastic skills just to get a bronze on a pad unless they've made it easier. With a good wheel set up it's easier but gold is still a bloody tough target.
The wheel gives you huge subtlety of control; you've got 900 degrees of steering and more subtlety to breaking and accelerating. With a car as responsive as the Red Bull, it makes a massive difference.
Dont dismiss what the power of not having a job at the moment can do for repetition until someone can get it. Just got the last of the dark matters which did not take that long. Just need to get some money for two Adamants and to upgrade one small thing and that should be it. Fingers cross as so bored of this game now!
