Lololol. Well done MM. Saves aren't compatible in a simple way. I may be able to export the disc version save and then import it. Which means waiting for the disc version to reinstall itself and, maybe, 15 plus updates if it doesn't work that way. Lololololol. Smooooooooth!
Great, fucking unskippable intro bollocks again. Gooooood stuffs. Fuck off Stephen, I know how to press x.
Awesomenauts is in the PSN sale - 3.99 instead of 7.99. Not sure if there's a trial or not - I really enjoyed it when I played it a while back.
Will have a hunt around tomorrow to see what the best pre order price for Borderlands is and if I find a good price will let you know. Its been a long time since we had something to play, Trine 2 i think, I am actually kinda looking forward to showing off my crazy skills again. Just hope you boys have gotten a little better, you really slowed me down in the original.

I may have to wait until next week (payday) to get Borderlands 2. The wife has toothache and an appointment at dentist tomorrow, will see how much money they extract from my wallet.... I'm not going to use Wonga and get trapped in the 4000+% APR payday loan spiral, I really don't love you guys that much.
I will make a decision Friday depending on how much the dentist charges. Would be best if I could get it Friday so that I am not left behind.
I have it on PC (packaged with a graphics card), but I plan to get it on PS3 as well when I find a deal that suits me. I've played it for about 5 hours. I've been very impressed. It's still definitely a Borderlands game, but they've sharpened up a few aspects. It seems like there's more direction to the narrative, and a joke about a Claptrap early in the game had me laughing out loud. I picked the Siren, and I'm finding the Phaselock to be more useful than I expected. It's not all-powerful the way Lilith's Phasewalk was; the early form basically freezes and elevates an enemy for a few seconds, letting you take free shots. I've found this to work against early mini-bosses/ bosses, although I'm sure eventually there will be gigantic enemies and it will be useless against them. I skimmed over her skill tree, and she has some team perks that sound interesting. I think one will cause Phaselocked enemies to drop health orbs or some such thing when you shoot them. It's nice that she has some abilities that help the team, as Lilith was much more of a single-player wrecking ball. I'm not finding the progressive weapons skill classes you can build up. Instead, the little challenges you complete unlock a mild skill boost. For example, killing so many of an enemy a certain way or with a certain weapon lets you pick from a short list of upgrades for weapon damage, recoil, shield capacity, health, ect. First is 1% improvement, second is 0.7% improvement, ect. I've already found some crazy weapons. I've got an orange labeled assault rifle that appears to shoot tiny explosive rockets. Maya has elemental boosts, so I've started out by cranking that up early and setting lots of things on fire. I had a pistol that would cause you to launch a little grenade at enemies every time you reloaded it. Some of the scopes are peculiar as well. I haven't tried the other characters, but I'm finding Maya to be very decent and perhaps not as overpowering and unbalanced as Lilith. But I have no idea how good the character will be at higher levels. Remember Lilith went from unremarkable to unstoppable goddess and Brick went from average to awful as the game progressed in the last game.
Borderlands should be on, dentist didn't charge as he has no idea and referring her to hospital dental dept.
I may be delayed as I've got a busy weekend going on. Game should arrive on Friday though. Don't start without me!
To be fair, the way the game works, you guys don't always have to play with each other, no? Grim can start playing, and when chi is ready, Grim can join Chi's game and assist him since the quest system sticks to the player who's game you're joining. As a matter of fact, this may work out great since you don't have to battle for loot, and Grim can give Chi better weapons from his game.
I probably wont be able to get any good weapons, both Chi and Monsly are 1st rate ninja's. They steal the loot before you even realise it exists.
Yeah but the really good weapons only appear in multiplayer. Will probably do what I did last time and have 2 characters. 1 for solo and 1 for Chi/monsly game although I hear that the trophy style unlocks (ones that are not skill tree) apply to all characters so I could still end up slightly buffed. We need to decide who is playing what class so I don't pick for solo. I guess Monsly will want Siren again, he ain't happy unless he is the girl.
