    The single player game looks stunning BTW. Feels quicker than the old one, which is good for me.

    (I pay for 10Mbps down, 512Kbps up)

    Waiting for a call back from VM now as my on demand TV services are not working, they fix one thing and screw up another.

    Shame they still haven't sheduled the upload upgrade in my area yet which will take it up to 1Mbps. They are moving everyone to 10:1 services so the 100Mbps services is 10Mbps up!

    Looks like it has the potential to have the best console graphics but I'd want to see moar, moar, MOAR first.

    @grim: I reckon you test your Internet more than you use it. I feel sorry for Virgin as a result.

    I only tested it because of my on demand problem. My v+ box has no online light which I believe means the return path is down (upstream).

    They are sending a chap to look at it Monday morning. Happy my internet is fixed but it makes me wonder if they changed something on the network serving me because of my complaints that had knocked on demand out.

    Just plug your phone into your ps3 and use wifi, less draining. Probably.

    Nah, they'll be alright, they See much worse stuff than that on their kid's programmes.

    In fact, I caught a glimpse of one and I was scarred

    I think I'll have to agree with you on that one. I saw one called boobah or something; scared the living daylights out of me. Had these obese alien looking things that had shifty eyes and would make farting nosies as they travelled through the air. I believe it was a British childrens program as well.

    I bought a new PS3 Slim. My 60 GB "fat" model still works just fine (typing this message with it now), but I wanted a Slim because it sips about 1/3 the power and can do bitstreaming. I bought the 160 GB model from amazon, which came with a $50 credit. I used the credit to buy a WD Scorpio Blue 500 GB HDD. Each had free shipping, so about $310 USD total for a 500 GB PS3 Slim. My neighbors may not appreciate the series of bitstreaming tests I plan to carry out.

    Tesco have got some sort of VAT free deal at the moment, meaning you can get a PS3 for £196 apparently.

    @AKS: I was surprised how quiet the slim was. I got a decent bundle when I got mine; a few games and extra pads were a good bonus.
