I've noticed the PSN has been real slow for downloading recently. Tokyo Jungle took aaaaages the other day.
Ok, you guys are gonna have to level your guys up a level or so, managed to unlock the thrid weapon slot but now my mechromancer is level 17 and a half.
I need to get a bigger HDD for my PS3 as my 80gb is getting low. How would I go about it, moving data to the new one and obviously setting up the new one to work in my PS3? I'm on PSN for the first time in months but you lot are asleep.
Depends how much you want to keep really. You can go to options and do a back up if you have a suitable external hdd - just connect it via USB and away you go. Takes a long time so I'd delete anything you're not worried about (game installs for old games you're not bothered by, that sort of thing). When you put in your new hdd, the ps3 will format it and then you can select restore backup. Done. Make sure you know you're PS3/psn password too - you'll need that at some point. Alternatively, you could just back your saves to a USB key and then reinstall and redownload your games on the new hdd. Quicker process to do BUT it can take longer overall depending on the number of game installs and your Internet connection speed for redownloading games. I've done both before - they each have their advantages. Hope that helps a bit, let me know if you've got any questions.
Don't you have to format the external HHD with something so the PS3 stuff can show up on the external one? So it's easy enough to open up some slot and take out the old PS3 HDD and slide a new one in? I already deleted older game install saves last night and have about 10gb left. I had to change my PSN password last night so I could update my debit card details as bough Sonic Adventure 2 last night so that is no problem.
