A demo of RE6 came with Dragons dogma today and IGN have a video of the Leon version. http://uk.ign.com/videos/2012/07/03/resident-evil-6-walkthrough-leon-demo-with-commentary Looks like a winner to me. The Leon sections anyway.
Anyone else been keeping tabs on this? It's out in a few weeks and it looks epic. Check out the new trailer from TGS: http://uk.ign.com/videos/2012/09/25/resident-evil-6-tgs-trailer
LOL. This is precisely why I found the Resident Evil games basically unplayable up until RE4. The controls were horrendous. Although I think some of it was intentional to heighten the suspense.
I liked the originals and loved the upgraded controls introduced in RE4 but even those felt dated by RE5. A friend of mine who played a lot of Mercenaries with me in RE4 and RE5 has played the demo and he said: I'm staying away from the demoas I don't want to be spoiled before playing the full game. I don't need to play the demo anyway. I've been at the stage of simply buying primary Resi games (i.e. not things like Outbreak) out of habit for ages now. It's like Elder Scrolls, Gears of War or GTA. I simply buy them when they come out without even thinking about it.
I bought this the other week on an Origin sale and finished Leon's campaign on coop. This game is actually pretty fun in coop. BUT. I thought Capcom would understand how to port to the PC platform now. Holy shit the entire UI is clunky. It's always amusing navigating a UI made for a controller. Otherwise, the controls are fairly solid. The random moving crosshair while ADS is kinda dumb though.
