    Is this worth $960?

    8 Core Snapdragon 835 + 6GB Ram
    6.3" Super AMOLED 521 ppi screen with 2960 x 1440 resolution
    8MP Front Camera + 12MP Dual Rear Camera (telephoto + wide-angle)

    it's not but I don't blame Samsung for trying. they got to a point where they have 3 flagships in the market where they can price like that.
