So phisix is a mod now? I did ask him yesterday but he was elusive/deaf and blind.

 

I only remember bfun spamming that place with a penis pills post. Bit before my time I reckons.

 

OK. I have added a small change to the forum. Instead of clicking REPLY and getting the whole of the post in the quote you can now highlight a single line of text in a post and click Quick Quote to only get that bit. Small, might seem insignificant, but it was p***ing me off getting the whole post..

 

Sweet. That was bugging me too, I even edited a few quotes manually.

Should there be a way for mods discuss and track such issues? We should keep a record of moves, deletes, and bans so that everyone is up to speed.

We should also have a voting system in place to decide if new mods are needed and who they will be.

 

I actually brought up the idea of "Polls" before but someone said they wanted to keep everything clean for the moment. Think it may have been Monkey, but I cannot remember. I think it is still a good idea, and it would also come in handy for random topics too; such as my favourite genre thread which I could have put up a poll for that which would have worked well.

Writers, Moderators and Administrators have access to a forum for their eyes only so we can discuss stuff to do with the site. I think your idea is a good one and we should add another sub-forum for PVCF admin business

I also noticed that this forum can have that "Karma" add-on which is like the Facebook "like" system. People who really like or really hate a post can give good or bad Karma and on their post will display +1 and beyond or -1 and below.

 

You should make a Recycle Bin with deleted posts. Maybe a note from where they got moved. Then perma-delete after X amount of time.

 

No. What need is there to rate our posts besides as a popularity contest? This is just another meaningless way to see your worth as dweeb on the internet.

 

Yeah, I agree with chi. Rating systems always end up causing moaning and arguing in the end. I think we all know when we make a good or bad post anyways.

 

You son of a bitch, I see you editing posts without editing timestamps. I'm gonna need in on that feature ASAP. Every post I make I have to edit 40 times.

Is it alteast possible to make the font alot smaller or something on the edit marker? I'm so OCD it bugs the crap out of me.

 

I guess, but there are sometimes when I read a post I get a temptation to like it, even though I cant.

Anyway, what does everyone think about adding polls? I still think it is needed.
