So very true. I have been on a few forums with a lot of kids who post random non sense posts or cannot put together a proper sentence or post. Then again, there are some people of that age who are not total dickwads. I doubt we will get more adults then we would with the younger audience though. I don't mind either way though.
Did you watch those videos I posted where the guys eat 50lbs of meat and make meat gingerbread houses and shit? They also took the Turducken to a whole new level. Also, how do you guys feel about no kids? I think kids are fucking annoying, and I don't want this turning into every other awful gaming forum on the planet.
Wait, how many rashers is 4lbs of bacon? As for going off topic, it should be tolerated as long as the OP goes along with it, if they don't want to go off topic, they should say so to that effect. If offtopicness continues, then further action may be required. I'm not sure on this one. If they can contribute in a sensible manner, then that's ok. But if all they do is whine and post pokemon/hasselhoff pictures, they're out.
Obviously not, but we should give a chance to everyone, and after a day or two, if they turn out to be the kids we hate, then bye bye. Like I said before, a few of us were young ones back many years ago in PVCF, but we fit in, were never douches like the ones on IGN and we turned out to be some of the top great posters you see now.
With the large amount of moderators, I don't think it would ever get too out of hand. But personally, I could care less if you stop registration outright. I pretty much came to PVC the last few years for the small group we already have now.
It would be nice to have some fresh blood though, I think the Xbox and Nintendo side of things are very under-represented.
@cmdrmonkey: I don't mind having younger gamers around but I think the focus should be on a more mature forum. If younger people are fine with that and can join in with discussions neatly then fine. I don't feel we should change to attract them. Maybe we should have someone designated to help groom young members? Who would be good for this most auspicious role? I nominate bfun.
Yeah, I don't think we need to block anybody. In fact, we should make Fusion a moderator, that should give us round the clock patrol.

As far as Nintendo and Xbox being underrepresented, I think the people here have just naturally shifted over to the PC and the PS3 for a number of reasons.
Idiotic kids like forums where they can attach 6 signature banners. They would never like our forum. We always got fairly mature kids on PVCF.
I say treat everyone the same wither they're 5 or 50. If they get stupid they get a warning. I pretty sure I saw a word filter on here. The bleem filter can live again. There could also be a "N" filter.
I think a few of the Nintendo lot got a bit tired and bored with abuse. Be good to have some of them back. Xbox wise, what genuine fans did we have? Ichi and armitage are all that spring to mind.
I don't want filtering. As far as racism, I'd prefer to let people hang themselves. Let them post something horribly racist so everyone can see what an asshat they are. It will make the decision to permaban them that much easier.
