You should always double space after a full stop, you uncultured fool. I guess we couldn't do it before. Their are rules for triple spaces too but I shan't share those just yet. No way.
http://www.a3webtech.com/index.php/double-space-after-stop.html Do you also slap your screen over to the left every time you start a new line? If being cultured means doing things that don't apply in any way to the modern world for the sake of tradition then I'll be uncultured. BTW(is this uncultured?), HTML automatically removes double spaces, that's why you couldn't do it before.
There's arguements that it makes sentence breaks clearer. I guess 'new money' wouldn't understand the refinement involved. Double spacing is the domain of the mature, the cultured and the, how shall I say?, more intellectual class of individual. Please note I shall not judge you on your single spacing vulgarity, though I would ask you to refrain from using smileys and engaging in 1337 speak simply because it is modern.
You insolent cur. Besides, you have misspelled intellectual so I win. I shall regale the gentleman's club with my endeavours this very evening.
LAWL MANG U bEAT mi I GIV UP NAO!! I wll go 2 da mall nd giv shit 2 da elderle nd sniff glu n shit.kps it realz homme
Doesn't double spacing refer to paragraphs? You guys are confusing. I might start indenting if this keeps up.
You indent a paragraph. Single space after period. Fusion, the worst thing you can do on a forum like this is openly admit something bothers you. This is a forum of assholes after all.
Only freaks indent paragraphs (from wiki): The practise of indenting paragraphs has long be considered grammatically incorrect. It remains in common usage only within the USA. Its widespread popularity has been attributed to its use within The Farmers' Almanac (citation needed). Only the lowest of all buffoons would consider it good practice.
Has the attempt to add some basic security functions to the site already been made? I'm still getting the "security" block at work when I try to access. :/
We've added some security features to the forums, like a confirmation email and a captcha box to prevent bots from registering. I'm not sure what's going on with the security certificate though. Ichi was supposed to be taking care of it.
Do we need an SSL certificate? That would be weird, because godaddy emailed me a promo offer for a SSL certificate. Maybe they are lurkers here too... Let me know if it's needed, its $12 for this year.
Today when I tried to access this site from work I received a partially loaded version of the Brock Samson "go look at some porn" page. That's at least a different result than before. Would it be possible to just eliminate that page altogether and see if it changes anything?
Yep. I have no idea why I was suddenly getting the partially loaded Brock Samson page. The main forum page has shown up sometimes if I keep closing out of the browser window and manually reentering the site name over and over, but it doesn't always work. However, you then have to try to repeat the process just to view each thread and each page and it's far too annoying. I mean, I'm looking to waste some time on PVC during the day, but not that much time!
