Something keeps causing taptalk to crash when I go into the last game completed thread. It's done it multiple times tonight but not anywhere else. Weird. I'll try shutting my phone down and restarting. Edit: still crashing after a restart. Ah well, next update might sort it. On an iPhone 4s in case anyone else has the issue.
Crashes have been happening more and more. Deleted and reinstalled the app but still the same. Guess I'll have to see what the next tapatalk update does.
Yeah, been in a bit busy recently - got a shitty couple of months ahead at work so it's not going to get much better. Hope tapatalk sort this crashing thing out, it's quite annoying.
We need to do something about image sizes. Maybe a re-size auto option or a something to make it appear bigger in another window once clicked on. If it is possible.
Do we still need that YouTube container? Tapatalk doesn't work with it at all. But works with plain URLs.
I think some users here may use it. Although, personally, I usually just pop the link open into another window.
He is talking about iOS, you can't open it in a new window. You have to open the thread in Safari, then launch the YT video. Pretty annoying, but I've gotten used to it.
I'm actually referring to the container when browsing via desktop browser. I don't even use it to view the video. But referring to mobile os, even though i use android, i don't even bother to open the thread in a browser. ain't nobody got time for that.
I don't bother opening YouTube videos when I'm on my phone. It's too much hassle. The funny video thread is dead to me. Plain urls embed fine and can be played in the app
If I really want to watch a video it is a lot of effort on Android.. Choose quote. Copy the link. Paste into browser. Choose play in YouTube app.
I would have thought you guys had the big screen Android phones by now and could easily use the standard browser. Or you just need to break down and buy a tablet.
Why would anyone use the browser? Tapatalk is quicker, cleaner and easier to use. I wouldn't use the browser on iOS either, not sure if they have released Tapatalk for Windows Phone yet.
