I think it was last Monday when I notice the forum stopped working. For some reason, the server had stopped. I restarted it. I hope you went doing maintenance.

 

I have a question. Why do all of you have your original PVC registration dates? My date is the date in 2011 I registered for the replacement forum. Can it be changed? I looked in my account settings but couldn't find it.

 

you have to prove you're the real hawk. send in your birth certificate, social security card, and list your last 5 places of residence

 

Uh, I didn't even notice those dates had been saved so I obviously have no clue.

 

There is a thread somewhere to the Wayback Machine. The regulars haven't changed and join dates were on the first page. Thought it would give this place a sense of decadence. If you provide your Kenyan long form birth certificate and join date, it will be updated at the earliest interval.

 

Will you also except an unquestionably legit Hawaiian birth certificate that doesn't appear to have any signs of tampering? I joined PVC in Sept 2003.

 

anybody still come here? i actually don't and there is a lot of errors when i log in and we're way out of support (by 11 years!!!). not sure if should upgrade to latest version or not lol

 

I log in about once a week. I try not to post too much online these days.

We're all so old now that we don't post anymore since everything has been talked about and seems uninteresting lol.

I've been thinking, since the ravaging of AI related things in the industry, such as causing serious price increases in parts, it sucks to be a younger gamer nowadays. PC or consoles, the pricing is ridiculous.

I still have my old ass coffee lake from 2017. The only thing I upgraded in it was the gpu to a geforce 4070 in jan 2023. i got a refurb oled steam deck a few months ago, so i dont foresee myself ever going back to that desktop.

 

And Monsly is the oldest of us all, he now rivals Dumbledore or Gandalf in both age and looks! Think yourselves lucky, Chi and I still have to suffer his ineptitude during our weekly gaming sessions (which do admittedly not always happen weekly as we are all old and sometimes busy).

Everything is ridiculous when it comes to pricing and the fact that this generation of consoles have seen price increases rather than price decreases shows what a stupid world we now live in. Now that Trump is bored of the Iran war that he started and is just leaving that to fester away and become the rest of the worlds problem, what can he ruin next do we think? Will he make it out of China without saying something stupid?

I just ordered my daughters laptop for her 18th to take to University a little earlier than I would have (her birthday is mid June) simply because if the Samsung workers go ahead with the strikes, I can only see them getting more ridiculous.

 

I don't remember when I was last on here. Anytime died recently?

 

Same with my nephews. They're still happy with the old switch's that I got them and have hand-me-down ipads that they play mobile games on.

 

At least we know none of us are AI chat bots. Of course we can't be 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure.
