    If the table structure is the same you should be able to do a restore of the DB, if it is different you may have to do a custom import.

    I don't know the table structure of this site but if for any reason there is anything like an ID for each thread that say starts at one on the DB and counts upwards with each thread then the more threads we open here the more duplicate entries you will have.

    Do a select * on the table that looks like it contains the thread info and see if there is a column that looks like an ID number that tells the system which information to call.

    Does seem like something he'd do. Suspicious he hasn't even posted as himself seeing as he practically lives on the forum.

    This is like moving house or something. Lots to do. Did some nick bfun's ID then? How do we know who's who? We need to do retinal scanning ASAP.

    I had the foresight to change the default database name... but I forgot to change the DB Index ID. Not sure if that might be my undoing later. I did read that SMF supports multiple databases, so that may make things easier.

    I have a $40 per diem. Probably room service burger, soup, and $8 San Pellegrino, + tip. I don't like to let any of my per diem go to waste.
