I'd rather authenticate by shoving my dick into a USB port.

  2. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

You have a thing about dicks lately.

  3. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

Not for us.... I think. For anybody new that might want to sign up. Basically give them the option of a forum account vs fb account.

There are people beating down the doors to get in here damnit.

  4. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

*looks out at the desolate wasteland*

    What people?

  5. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

I don't see any people trying to get in. There are lots of penis pill spam bots though.

  6. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

You mean dick pill spam bots.

  7. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

    There's plenty of people...

    What's with the cobwebs?

  9. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

I already told you... someone has to deal with the goddamn users that want to use Facebook accounts. I have people skills! I am good at dealing with people! Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?

  10. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

    What users?

  11. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

So the obnoxious post verification goes away eventually, right?

  12. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

Nope. Captcha phrases are the apples of this Eden.

  13. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

Lies! It's already gone. I didn't really need to ask, just posting to get over the hump.

  14. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

Something very strange is happening. I can see the site fine on the 4G LTE on my phone, but get a 503 service not available error on my home internet connection. I'm pretty sure my home IP address is being blocked for some reason.

  15. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

I don't think any of the add-ons he's running block IPs. The bad behavior mod keeps a log of denied actions. You can check the log for you IP.

  16. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

Really hard to do from a phone

  17. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

I was getting the same 503 errors on Saturday... something about mod_security being enabled and flagging ";" in SMF URL's.

I was gonna try the recommended steps when I get a chance, I' was at a hotel all weekend.

What kind of indian food did you stuff yourself with this time?

  19. Re: Site Rebranding & Setup

I actually disabled this through Dreamhost's CGI panel on my phone Saturday, and haven't had a problem since. I just did the server side disable in some .htaccess file. Let me know if it's still a problem.

@ khaid, I actually came to post about my restaurant tour this weekend when i saw this thread...

Still being blocked. I must have used a semicolon at some point. Apparently dreamhost hates semicolons.
