I've been having that exact issue with Chrome for awhile. Hopefully they fix it with an update.

  2. Not had this problem with Chrome and I leave it open for days, if not weeks at a time and just lock my system. Chrome 90 and Windows 10 20H2.

  3. <--- Last of the Firefoxians over here!

  4. I run my laptop right next to my desktop. Same version of Chrome on both. Only the desktop seems to have the issue. I think it started a couple of months back.

  5. Chrome now hides this setting. New way to fix this:

    - Right click the Chrome shortcut. Click Properties.

    - In the Target address, it will show an address in quotation marks. After the right quotation mark, type --disable-backgrounding-occluded-windows (with the space at the front... and make sure you're using a double dash)

    - Click Apply, then Ok
