    Disney is closing LucasArts, so I'm pretty sure this is canceled.

    This is a sad day. LucasArts made some of the greatest games of all time, including Tie Fighter, X-Wing, the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series, Knights of the Old Republic (published), Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, and Monkey Island.

    Their more recent stuff has been shitty, but 1313 looked promising and I was really hoping it would be a return to their glory days.

    Yes they made some great games but it's been a while since we've seen one. Maybe we'll see more releases now.

    Think of your favorite 3rd party developer doing a Star Wars game...that's the possible silver lining.

    I'm hoping for the best. Disney likes to make money so I expect some more games to be release. My only concern is that blasters and light sabers will be replaced by nerf guns and pool noodles.

    Are they keeping all of the LucaArts licences?
