The slow reveal of the crashed Star Destroyer is so good. I was thinking "what kind of a sand dune is that supposed to...ohhh."
That ad is kind of funny. It's like the upscale my-parents-drive-a-Range-Rover version of the old Kenner advertising. The house and landscaping look like they're from a $2 million dollar flip listing on Redfin.
Looks like it might actually be really good and a proper follow up to the original trilogy. But I'm keeping my expectations low after those godawful prequels.
We have a big project finishing just before Christmas so I am not going to see this until after Christmas. I imagine everything from the 17th is well sold out anyway. On Tapatalk you can see a sneak peak of a thread even if you don't click into it. Shall we have a spoiler/story embargo until some point in January so that this doesn't get spoilt for anyone?
Good luck with that. Trying to block spoilers from the Internet is tough. Some bastard always sneaks one in somewhere. Like, "Hey my taco's are so tasty, just like the time Han Solo DIED!".
I won't read the internet between 17th and the 27th-30th (depending on when i can get there) just to be safe. Sent from my XT1032 using Tapatalk
Looking at the news I think it gets a general UK release at midnight tonight. I knew it was out tomorrow but didn't realise cinemas were doing a midnight release. We get it a day before the US. Expected to make $300,000,000-$400,000,000 in a weekend. Still, I'm waiting until after Christmas. Doubt I'd get a ticket any time soon anyway.
Already had someone ruin this film for me with a massive spoiler and a screenshot to boot an hour ago. Some people are actual cunts with no life.
I watched it without any spoilers. Awesome film. Easily the best this year Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Well changed my mind. Had the day off so I'm sitting in the theatre waiting for the first showing. Only 45 minutes left. It's sold out for the rest of the day. Only the hardcore here at 8am.
Translation: Waited for wife and kids to leave for work and school. Called in sick. Went to see Star Wars using pre-booked ticket. Omission: Went in costume. Engaged in cosplay outside theater for 45 minutes.
