Correct! Black absorbs all of the colors in the visible light spectrum, thus making it infinitesimally heavier than the white, which reflects all of the colors. However, the catch is that although the black version is heavier, black makes you look thinner.

FYI: iPad 2,4 is the current version of the iPad 2 that Apple sells. Basically, same internals as iPad Mini but with a much larger battery due to the large size screen/case.

Got myself a Nexus 7. I'm enjoying the 7" size a lot more than the 10" tablets. It's actually light enough to hold with one hand.
