The Great US vs UK Food Debate

  1. Yeah, 1.6% lower isn't exactly point and laugh numbers.

On a serious note, I think there was a study showing correlation of obesity and national wealth. From about the 80's until now, obesity was higher in North America and Europe.

Recently, wealth has been shifting to emerging markets in Asia. The populations of India and China are now getting fatter at an epic rate. Since wealth has been decreasing in the western world, obesity rates are stalling, and or reversing in alot of places.

  2. No your fat because you eat shit like this..

You couldn't even get that over here and they pretty much banned anything larger than large portions in fast food places years ago. The most burgers you will get in a bun over here is 2 and thats with a big mac or double bacon cheese burger which are of course American inventions.

  3. I've never eaten anything that looks like that. And you guys must really hate freedom to put bans on what people can eat.

  4. We have free healthcare, the government and the tax payer shouldn't be expected to foot the bill when some fat bastard needs a heart bypass at the age of 30 after eating too many 1lbs burgers!

  5. The things Americans cook at home when they can't get big enough portions eating out is pretty disturbing too.

  6. That's the price you pay for "free" healthcare. Being too fat makes you a drain on the system in the long run.

  7. That Braveheart dude fought and died so that you could eat a quadruple cheeseburger. The least you could do is honor his memory.

  8. Explains why they don't want free healthcare in the US though doesn't it?

"We'll give you free healthcare but you're going to have to watch what you eat"....Next thing you know they're in court trying to undo the reforms.

  9. Good god did you not pay attention, that was William Wallace fighting to free Scotland from English rule.

  10. Of course they didn't. As I understand it, Americans are some of the stupidest people on the planet as well as the fattest.

  11. You selfish fucks. You probably deny the Scottish people quad-patty burgers don't you?

  12. What I don't understand is how people get like this:

They're bedridden, so WHO THE HELL IS STILL FEEDING THESE PEOPLE.

  13. That guy is Mexican if I remember right. Of course, Mexico has the second highest obesity rates in the world..next to the USA. So, technically speaking, this guy comes in second place for the most revolting fatty award.

  14. You got me there. No can defend. Sadly.

  15. HOW DOES HE GO TO THE TOILET? I CANNOT UNSEE!

  16. I don't know to be honest, they kind of have their own little government that is overall pretty powerless but with them all being as unhealthy as they are I suspect that was the first thing they passed as law. The right to eat a burger that is at least 20 cm's high!

The Scottish are quite unhealthy in general from what I understand.

  17. I was being ironical.

  18. He probably eats out of a hose or a bucket.

  19. Woh I had to LOL at that. I've only heard of the canned whole chicken. I've never actually seen one.

  20. We do have our own fat people but I don't think anyone has ever gotten that bad, still they give it a go!

... I was going to put a picture of Michelle McManus here but it appears she has lost a lot of weight, still here is a before shot.
