I was staying a hotel near a on-site job yesterday. After the job completed I came back to the room and ordered from the Indian restaurant nearby. Based on the portion size and price ($28) I assume I had ordered food for a family of 6, but decided to eat it all myself. I ate about 1/3 of everything right away while it was hot. I tasted real good, but made me sleepy and next thing I knew it was no longer 7PM but 3AM. I got up and immediately ate another 1/3 of the food remaining... the hotel room didn't have a fridge so I didn't want $30 to go to waste. This time it wasn't as good because it was cold, but it still tasted decent. I then proceeded to sleep until around 10AM this morning. At 10AM I got up from chest pains from what I presume was a heart attack. It lasted a good 20 minutes and was pretty bothersome, but I ignored it and surfed the internet. Once the heart attack subsided I ate the last 1/3 of the food checked out and went home. I don't know why this happens to me. I'm not sure if I went wrong ordering the food, or if I should've thrown the extra away... I just wasn't brought up to throw food away.
Acid reflux from eating too much spicy Indian food I'm guessing. Eating a huge meal right before sleeping is also a good way to end up with reflux.
I'm pretty sure he has an eating disorder. The episodes seem to keep getting worse. And this last one where he checked into a hotel so he could eat a family meal by himself was particularly pathetic and shameful.
Supersonic is getting worrying. Having said that, I did have an entire bucket of KFC to myself the other day.
Yeah, but you didn't check into a hotel to carry out a secret love affair with the food. That's the point Supersonic is at. I think he's really sick.
The fact that you woke up at three am and proceeded to eat immediately, despite eating enough to put you to sleep before, is a cause for concern.
did you order that much on purpose or by accident. i do give you props on finding indian food that cheap. usually $28 in the indian places i've went to is like just 2 semi-small plates.
No. Contrary to popular belief I was just hungry after work and the place was within walking distance. They didnt have any combo type meals like chinese places. I also didnt have cash and I had to order two things to make the minimum CC charge. Not having cash is where I went so very wrong. Although the portions were big for ~$13 an item. This was edison, nj. It literally has the highest population of indians in the usa, so the pricing may be affected.
So was it like corn-meal and pheasant or curry and eggplant? Just to be clear what kind of Indian are we talking? Washington Redskin or Jungle Book?
Indian food is easily the most expensive form of common take-away in the UK probably followed by pizza. I don't think me and my wife have ever ordered Indian food in as we don't really eat curry and always worry we will spend a fortune and end up with something we don't like.
We keep saying we should go to a restaurant and try some stuff as it always looks nice but I have eaten so many bad supermarket currys in my time that I am a bit dubious. Usually like lamb based ones but the one curry I really do like is a Thai green which you can't get in an Indian anyway.
Chicken tikka masala is a safe bet at most Indian places. I don't think I've ever had any that was bad. Kind of like how general tso's "chicken" is a safe bet at Chinese places. Some of what I've had was probably alley cat, but when it's cooked that way alley cat tastes pretty good.
Really? Pizza is that expensive? I can get $5 pizzas at Little Caesars or $8 pizza at Black Jack. Pizza is a poor mans food.
As bad as Little Caesars is, Godfather's is actually worse. They make that shit in gas stations next to the decrepit hot dogs on that spinner thing that have been there for years.
