Decided it was time to clog the arteries again. German sausage, Saint Louis style ribs, and pork shoulder smoked with cherry wood. 2 more hours and it will be done.
Potato leak soup, a salad, and chicken salad sandwiches. I had done two whole chickens in the French Oven the other day and had tons of leftovers, part of which I turned into chicken salad. I'll probably soup the carcasses tomorrow night and do some chicken noodle soup.
Ah gawd. Eating so much dead pig is like going to the neighborhood orgy. It seems like a good idea at first but the moment it's over there is nothing but guilt, shame, and a big mess.
I ate at a place called Bob Evans... I think it instantly gave me diabetes. You could probably feed a small nation for $100 they are priced so cheap. In fact, I ordered 2 items because the price made me think the portions were small. But I got so much food I had to throw most of it out due to a legit fear of diabetes. Blueberry crepes and pancakes, with a side of sausage and bacon. It was 2 large crepes and the pancakes turned out to be the size of the plate and there was 5 of them!
Bob Evans is all over the east coast, brev. goes central too since I recall them being in michigan. imo they're a restaurant for old people
Going to an all-you-can-eat BBQ place for lunch. It's only $11 and you can eat as much freaking meat as your body can handle.
ahhh man. there was this place called sonny's bbq back in Florida that was priced like that. good eats right there.
I hope all of that is for you. Who the fuck eats one slice of pizza? I had been eating salads and veg/fruit juice since Tuesday so I could look like a boss at a wedding Saturday. I spent Sunday feasting like I am going to be executed in morning. Big Mac Sweet & Sour Chicken Combo Qdoba Bowl Popeyes Spicy Chicken strips I could still eat everything in that picture right now.
I couldn't finish all that... 5 days of juice shrunk my stomach pretty good. It was more a mental snap in wanting a variety of foods immediately. But now I feel so sick and haven't been able to sleep all night.
With the summer season approaching I have found myself being more conscious, just on a breakfast, lunch and dinner thing at the moment. No snacks in-between and nothing offensively bad for me or huge for any one meal.
I usually eat whatever but try to accurately estimate 2000 calories. The epic meal above isn't as much as you may think: Big Mac w sauce, no buns = 430 Sweet & Sour Chicken Comb (ate 1/3) = 600 Qdoba Bowl = 1050 Popeyes Chicken 3 stripes = 310 Not bad coming off a week of organic vegan liquid diet. I'm up 4 lbs in a day in bloat and salt! Also I'm usually vehemently anti-vegetarian But last week I had some of the best sleep and energy levels I can recall. I did 3 consecutive days of 10 mile hikes. Although I will note energy != strength. I felt pretty weak and picking modestly heavy items made me dizzy. Very difficult to explain. Might be some truth to that you are what you eat saying. Think I'll try it once a week or for daily breakfasts.
I think most weeks I'm close to 2/3 vegetarian and it's not really that hard to do. Breakfast rarely involves any meat, and then it's not unusual to have 3 lunches and 3 dinners during the week that qualify as vegetarian. It definitely helps the digestive system to work in more vegetarian meals.
