lol I ate roughly 4 lbs of steak, 1lb of chicken, and 1lb of lamb in a 72 hour period... so meat withdrawal is not a problem. In fact, the overload has made it easy as I just didn't crave it at all this week. @bfun Almost every single Vegan item tries to convince you it's some delicious meat. So either Vegans must secretly want it, or this stuff is for the transition crowd. @alterego I've managed to pull off no eggs, cheese, etc... but have dabbled with the occasional bowl of cereal and milk early on.
becoming a vegan isn't even necessary unless you have some beliefs related to it. becoming a vegetarian just makes more sense otherwise. or easier is just to cut back on meat in general and stick to white meat when you go for meat.
He's going to fall off the wagon hard. I'm betting he goes to a Brazilian steakhouse and eats 5+ lbs of meat in one sitting.
lol I didn't mean to imply this would be permanent. Just trying it out as long as I can. I'd like to go back to a normal diet but still keep a significant amount of my protein intake from vegan products. But we'll see. I'm a part of a food meetup. We try zagat and michelin rated places every few weeks. But we let these out of towners in who basically hit up 4 places in close succession to make hotel expenses worth it. But I had a pretty disgusting time.... Interestingly the tiniest person in the group seemed unphased eating so much.
Four restaurants in a row? It sounds like you've found a club of a high-end binge eaters. Are they all massive fatsos who could be featured on TLC's My 600lb Life? I guess fatties go to Golden Coral. Rich fatties go to Michelin Star restaurants and order everything on the menu. Then go to three more Michelin restaurants.
That's pretty much what I do these days...usually around 2/3 of my meals are vegetarian, and mainly turkey/chicken for the ones that aren't.
English bacon sucks though. It's basically just ham. Your country fails at everything food related. You can't even get bacon right.
Don't judge me poop man. I know what I'm doing and I can stop whenever I want. Like Monday, when I went full vegan.
Del Frisco Steakhouse THICK CUT BACON AU POIVRE Bourbon Molasses Glaze #GoAT Expected to be ripped off since it cost $16. But this was the most glorious slice of bacon of all time. Steak was only OK. Would recommend on bacon appetizer alone.
