I completely understand your concerns. There was a popular teacher and scoutmaster in the part of Pennsylvania I grew up in (Supersonic said he also knew him) who committed suicide because he was about to go to trial for molesting kids. I had him as my 7th grade teacher and went on some camping trips with him and he was weird and creepy. It seems like they've taken big steps to clean it up. But if I get any bad vibes I'll pull my son out. He really wanted to go camping and had friends who were joining. I had mostly good experiences with it other than the one creepy molester dude.
