The UK Riots(August 2011)

I heard they are bringing in some riot experts from the USA. Not sure what that was about though.

 

Some senior police officer from the L.A. riots I believe.

 

They will probably recommend that the UK police get some chairs, a box of doughnuts, and a bunch of Korean guys with guns.

 

So did monsly and Grim finally git picked up by the police?

Seems they've been playing quite a bit of that Earth Defense insect genocide thingy lately.

 

Haven't played that in at least a week, moving onto Dungeon Hunter next whenever Monsly comes back from his little holiday.

Can't believe how autumnal it feels at the moment, worst summer ever and its supposed to be pretty cold all week. Don't think people feel like rioting when its cold and wet.

 

That's what everyone says every single year without fail. "Oh it's the wettest summer for years" etc etc. People are too quick to forget the several weeks of sunshine we get as soon as it starts to rain.

 

The guy who started the fire at Reeves Corner which pretty much became the image of the 2011 riots has changed his plea to guilty. Along with a few other guilty pleas for robbery etc to be added to his sentence I expect he will go down for quite a while.

Isn't your justice system pretty lax and more about rehabilitation though? I'd think he'd get a couple of years at most.

 

Except we're talking about European resort jail, so he'll be out in six months tops.

From what I understand, you can murder someone in a European country and only get a few years. Not that I'm complaining. The US justice system is corrupt and has ridiculously over the top punishments for things.

 

Some people got 2 years for stealing silly things like bottled water during the riots, he will get quite a long sentence. One Guy got 2 years for suggesting rioting on Facebook.

Murderers over here usually get 25-30 year sentences but will sometimes get out earlier but the judge will give a minimum, say 20 for example.

 

Yeah our systems full of little bitches. If you murder someone you should lose the right to keep breathing my oxygen, end of. Brig back the death penalty IMO.

 

The justice system doesn't always convict the right person.

 

What if you have to murder someone to stop 2 murders, eh?

 

Also, a lifetime of being raped by large, angry black men like Fleece Johnson and Tossed Salad Man is a fate worse than death.

 

I thought criminals preferred american prisons because they were easier on them? Atleast that is what law and order episodes always suggest.

 

I can't tell if you're being serious. Some countries don't extradite to the US because our prisons are so brutal.
