The Walking Dead Well, they're doing Herschel Farm story now and I've seen some set photos from the Prison storyline. I'm going to hazard a guess they'll also do the Governor plot line but for TV we'll probably see Merle come back as the Governor (minus his hand) and that'll lead onto Rick losing his. I don't know. The comic is great but it's a medium that lets you tell an epic story over months - for the TV they're going to have to chop out a lot of stuff. I assume the big stories are going to all get done though; they'd be daft not to use the major plot lines given how rich the comics are.
The Walking Dead Part timers? Anyone still watching this? Just watched the newest episode and the ending ending on a cliffhanger. I knew there was something in that barn.
The Walking Dead Friends and family yeah. I think there might be just under 20 in there. Sucks to be the Asian guy though as he was about to get it on with that fit farm girl again.
The Walking Dead In one of the earlier episodes he compared the zombie outbreak to other plagues and seemed optimistic that a cure would be found even when Rick told him the CDC was blown up. He's probably storing his zombie wife and daughters and others in there hoping it happens. That's also why he's been so weird about Rick's group staying much longer.
The Walking Dead Yeah that much I gathered. I think it gave it away really when Rick asked if they could move into the barn and Hershel was hesitant that they cannot. Really enjoying this series, but it needs to pick up a bit faster. The missing girl part is starting to drag now.
The Walking Dead -----Spoilers------ What a twist. Really puts the search for the little girl in a different light. I guess the old dude was trying to protect her from exactly the kind of thing that ended up happening considering he still sees them as people. Also, despite seeming like a bit of a psycho initially, I think Shane is actually the most sensible one in the group. You can't be a sentimental pussy in a world like this one. Shane is willing to make the tough decisions. For instance, he had to kill the fat guy when they were running from the zombies at the FEMA camp or they both would have ended up dead. It's good to see that Rick is finally coming around. They did what had to be done at the barn. The old dude was a moron who let his sentimentality get the better of him. This show so far has really been about reason versus emotion, and it seems like reason is finally winning out.
The Walking Dead It's actually more about people and the decisions they make. The zombies are just sort of there in the background.
The Walking Dead No, but I will be in a minute before I go to sleep. It still have loads of Zombies and them being after you. The best part with them so far was the start of season 2 when everyone had to hide under vehicles. Edit: Watch it now, was a great episode and finally put that search to an end. Shame its on a break now.
The Walking Dead I thought the chick the asian kid hooked up with said the other farms in the area either burnt down or were infested with zombies.
The Walking Dead Yeah she did say that but they didn't need a farm house and they could have cleared out the zombies. Another farm probably would have had water and food supply.
